Last year, a group of us, Singaporean, Malaysian and an Indonesian travelled to Krygyzstan and Uzbekistan. This was a photo trip as we are all enthusiastic photographers. The landscape is beautiful. We travelled to Song Kul an alpine lake at over 3000m surrounded by the Tian Shan mountain range, where we stayed overnight. From Krygyzstan we travelled to Uzbekistan, a country famous for its ancient cities such as Samarkand and Bukhara. Both these two countries are relatively unknown in terms of tourism.

Hi YeeVen, I have seen TianShan too but from Xinjiang China. The scenery in this video reminded me of Xinjiang. My in-laws are 回族 from Xinjiang, Ningxia and Qinghai. I'm Malaysian 福州人 living in 新西兰。

You trip being to karakol? I miss this place, krygyz language got shaanxi influence, like sambal is called 辣子，ramen is called "lagshman", and Iwe can actually master dungan language with no barrier, even better if can read russian, then can read dungan script, the only mandarin written in ciliaric
Yes we were in Karakol to visit the Dungan mosque & Russian Orthodox church :) Come join us in our next trip! We have a tour in the upcoming April 2023 :)

Kyrgyz language is turkic family of languages, so the ones that you spoke aren't kyrgyz, they are Dungans who came from Shaanxi and Gansu provinces long time ago. Kyrgyz Republic doesnt speak Mandarin at all, besides tour guides.
