2004 man , cricket was at it's peak
India, Australia,, pakistan, srilanka,west Indies , south africa and England had one of the best players in all cricket history.
Still India was playing do well... i feel so low about today's team and performances

98, 99, 2000 were one of the best years of cricket.
At that time Zimbabwe was also among top 5 teams , they had 2 amazing players and brothers Andy flower , Grant Flower with a tremendous bowler I forgot his name and even Kenya used to be a tough competitor against india.
There was a Kenyan bowler Henry olonga he used to take hattrick from their team.
What a golden era that was.
Every team had at least 2 legendary players.
For Indian team Ganguly was Teams India’s Kohli at that time. Most of Ganguly’s best performances came before 2001.
I just came here to see those fans who have similar feelings like me for this special memorable series between our neighbours. I wish I could live those moments again in my life. That period was so amazing . We saw real cricket real entertainment . I was studying in school 4th standard at that time and this was when I started playing and watching cricket.

This is the first match I ever saw live. Walking into the stadium in Karachi to see Sachin / Sehwag battling it out with Shoab / Sami was one of the most surreal moments of my childhood. 4 of my favourite players going at it. Such an amazing game this was!

During this time electricity used to come till 5 pm and then again at 8 pm ... So during that time we used to have radio in my mama's house and listen to commentry ... So nostalgia ❤

I remember I turned off the TV when Pakistan lost first 2 wickets and I was playing games on my PC then my father let me know that Inzi and Yousaf playing really well and you should watch. Just like half the Karachi crowd left the stadium after the first 2 wickets and then they came back witnessed one of the historical Pakistan-India encounter in Cricket.
