I had this song played at my darling mum's funeral, whilst I was holding my darling lad's hand for support - not to imagine that two years later I would be playing it at his funeral as well... Bittersweet song, but the words mean so much x
The lyrics aren't like other lyrics. They're uplifting. Not about sexual conquest like we've all had. Not violence like we've all experienced. Not condescending or narcissistic. Not political. Definitely not about drugs and getting high or getting drunk. That's what is so unique about this music. And Yes and Jon Anderson. Vangelis notwithstanding. Seriously may the goodness and truth be in us and shine out of us.
I heard this at a friends funeral 25 years ago and the whole congregation was moved to tears including me. Without going into details why, it was so fitting for him and I felt so uplifted to hear it was it was his favourite and his family had chosen it. I have a faith but I knew he wasn't religious. I felt an enormous sense and release that he had indeed found his way home. God bless you Paul.
In memory of my dearest friend, Pete, who took his own life in 1981, after struggling with depression for 18 months following the sudden death of his beloved mother. God bless you Pete and Val. I'll miss you always until we meet again. X

Commiserations Jon, I woke this morning & heard the saddest news. Your work with the man drew my attention to his solo craft and of course the joyful blending of your musical artistry. RIP sir x
This song reminds me of my Dad. Who defies logic science and basic medical knowledge by still being alive today. Not as close as we once were. But it reminds me of him. And I wouldn't be here without his input. Nor would I probably have my love for music.
This is possibly the most spiritual song Jon has ever done that doesn't have overtly spiritual lyrics. He's one of the few artists I can think of who can touch you on a deeper level even when he's maybe not even trying to.

A collaboration which was the result of Jon travelling to Paris to meet Vangelis in his studio to discuss replacing the recently departed Rick Wakeman in Yes. Although Vangelis did not join Yes, thankfully he and Jon hit it off spectacularly and recorded some amazing songs.

This song makes me think about all my psychological problems during these years. There is always that "I'll find my home" feeling that never came even when literally I am at home. Empty inside
it brings back memories of when I left home and joined the the air force, and yet I still haven't found my way back home, but I love this clip and I wish I could repost it

9th June 2020 first time I heard this last night, amazing, been humming it all day lol
Beautiful timeless music, a very eccentric individual but what a talent. Heard Jon tell the story of how they came together to record this.
I suffer from mental illness and crohns disease this song helps me deal with both
⚘💓
Happiness your way!
Good on ya mate Stunning song
I suffer from Ulcerative colitis and find when I'm in flare my depression comes back. The gut and the brain are connected, but this is a cool song.
good luck to you. wish u the best
showing my age but i still love this song . jon Anderson is a legend.
Absolute legend
I saw him last year at 73 + still a legend ,I'm totally in love with this legend
Stussy H Vangelis is no mug either!
I quess I am way younger than you are, but this is timeless.
What a beautiful song!!!
The 80's were a great decade for music this is one of those songs than can elevate you when times are tough... We're all going through a chapter right now.. But you know what.. ' it's going to be okay' ❤️🙏🏻😉

the pictures are incredibly suggestive,
it clearly shows that whoever created the clip understood the text
Loved this song as a kid and I still love it now.
"Somehow we're going somewhere.."/ im on a inter city bus right now.......i needed this. The '80's were the best years of my life
Sunday evening. ..1980 with my grandad making an air-fix model of a WW2 hurricane fighter that he painted to match his own one he flew during the war....
Music makes memories my friend. If only we could get that time and those people back .....
Priceless memories
Priceless memories
Incredible
Awesome memories fella, all the respect and admiration for your dear grandfather. All the best mate...
WOW. Not heard this in so long and its an amazing tune. Takes me back to my early teens when life was easy and simple.
Same! It’s such a deep song. Nostalgic music is amazing isn’t it?
This song makes me think about all my psychological problems during these years. There is always that "I'll find my home" feeling that never came even when literally I am at home. Empty inside
it brings back memories of when I left home and joined the the air force, and yet I still haven't found my way back home, but I love this clip and I wish I could repost it
I love this song ......I want it to be played at my funeral as I feel it will bring my loved ones peace :)
What an amazing song Love and peace to all my fellow humans🙏
The best mix between synthesizer music and vocals, and one of the best lyrics ever written
reading other comments where this song has touched their hearts for so many diverse reasons - that wonderful connection that makes humans great...
My husband had this at his funeral on entering the church 2 years ago after dying from a brain tumour at 62. Six months after diagnosed I never asked him how he had come to choose this one as wasn't even aware he liked it. I so wish I had of done now
he will know, like he knew you loved him.
It's the comforting of the lyrics. "Home" is heaven.
Soundtrack to my life this song. Can remember when it came out in the early 80s. Whenever I've faced battles in my life and felt like giving up I always know I'll find my way home.
You will find you way home..
i heard this this on the radio first time yesterday and i absolutely love it !!!!! i keep playing it and my wife is cross with me ha ha
RIP my Greek Legend Vangelis…😢😢😢😢😢
8 years ago we buried my Dad. This was his favourite song of course played at his funeral. Rip Dad 6/09/2013 at 1710pm
Same year I buried both mother and father, Perception of time and all that matter changed forever... First time alone, it all gets bigger
I have a lot of memories in my music library and I only collect the best. Another timeless classic.
I never really understood the lyrics but now my eyes are wide open 😢
YOU FOUND YOUR WAY HOME.....MAY YOU REST IN PEACE...THIS WORLD WITHOUT YOU IS INDEED A SAD ONE....LET YOUR MUSIC SOAR HIGH AS YOUR SPIRIT IS NOW SOARING TO THE HEAVENS.
Ooooh, the synths... Ooooh, the vocals... A Masterpiece!!! 😊
