Thank you for this video. I can't wait to try this combo. I wish you would have held the swatches on your hand a little closer to the camera and for a little longer to give it time to focus. It's really helpful for me to get a good look at the color and texture.
You are so sweet to say so. I can't take ALL of the credit for the lips bc I have done lip filler before. If you haven't followed my blog, I did an entire post sharing my experience with trying that beauty treatment out. I do very minimal filler, but it does give me an upper lip I never had before! But, in regards to keeping lipstick on, make sure they're very well hydrated and exfoliated - smoother lips hold lip color better than flaky ones! (filler has hyaluronic acid in it which has extremely good hydrating properties - hence plumping effect) And layer your lipstick with a liner and fill them in completely. Apply one layer lipstick, blot with a kleenex, then apply a second. Those steps help!

It took me years to finally cave in and buy Charlotte Tilbury products and the biggest miss for me are her lipsticks. The marketing says it is a mauve pink and unfortunately for me it shows on my lips as a dark peach brownish color. I don't see anything pink about it and the same goes for some of her hi-lighters. They are described as pink and to me they are VERY peach toned. This will be my last time purchasing her lipsticks. I even tried one more color "Wedding Bells" and it does not show up on my lips as described. Maybe it's me all I can say is I just wasted $94 on 2 lipsticks and 1 lip liner from her brand.

Late response but CT products have a tendency to run VERY warm toned. I remember reading someone on Reddit saying that all CT products make them look like they slathered peanut butter on their faces and I find that pretty accurate. I’m personally happy that CT products won’t work on me (I’m neutral leaning cool with olive undertones, and brown based lipsticks and eyeshadows look awful on me) because the price tag is so hefty.
Can't hurt to just try the $8 option and see if it works for you! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, then you can take the remaining $20+ and put it towards something else!

It is very comfortable for a described matte lipstick IMO. In terms of long wear, I don’t find either one of them lasting all day long - I def have to reapply each. But I love that process so that doesn’t bother me to reapply as long as it looks great!!
CT is overpriced. You can’t even sharpen the lip liner because it is so soft. Definitely not worth the money. I will happily dupe it…so I can afford that pillow talk palette that is also overpriced. It needs a dupe.

All those so called celebrities are full of botox , surgery and all the rest, you don't know how they really look !! And then with professional make up artists painting maks on their faces and filters and photoshop ....who can believe they look like they look ?? Not me And on the top of that , let's keep in mind that Loreal is the real business company here. Owns hundreds of higher end and drugstore brands. If they want to believe they are paying other than name and packaging... up to them. Love your personality !

These Pillow Talk lipsticks seem overrated to me and the shades have no real zing on anyone. If I wanted that look, other economical brands have plenty of beautiful nude shades under $10.

Absolutely it will! I think those skin tones it works best for - could be a bit too pale for super dark skin, but fair to medium is 👍🏼
