Middle Eastern people do bloodtest before marriage. It is mandatory for both parties. I know a couple where girl was Morrocan ang guy was from Syria and they both had to do blood test before marriage because it was a requirement to register marriage.

Please do write about it. I have a story in my family about cousin marriage. It ended in divorce and now the sisters don’t talk to each other. The whole family unit split.
