Lucas Lepri, pretty much the greatest lightweight jiujitsu player of all time. We don’t see any lifting, so would be interested to see what you guys recommend as best for jiujitsu, as I’ve just started lifting for JJ myself in the past month. Video is here: czcams.com/video/UO-dLRHGmns/video.html
Step up defo from Franz Bosch, worked with the Japanese rugby team a few years ago and many of his methods have been applied to sprinting also. The calf part with heel raise looks like a Cal Dietz thing.
I train alongside some rugby players and they do something similar to that plate raise/step-up, no clue what it's for though--they don't know either from what I've heard
Repeating the praise but yeah, these digestible, react-type videos on real life examples of S&C gives a super practical insight into your guys' perspective
@@FitchFitchFitch I use them as a warmup / auxiliary exercise for the snatch, done with a snatch. Pretty awful trying to do snatch grip presses in the front of you neck lol.
Love this series. Just hit a squat 5x3 PB today too. Thanks lads
Nice of you to make an appearance at 20:49 haha

Really like this style of video, and the way it's edited is also super aesthetically pleasing. You guys have come really far!
incredible. more of this lads!
Keep these vids coming!!
Another top vid, thanks lads
The airey fairy plate step up is one of the parts of Franz Bosch systems
This is what i thought when seeing that exercise. Frans bosch is a well known name in the sportphysiotherapy world.
9:35 exercises popularised by Frans Bosch
Reaction idea: Chasey Lindley's 405 overhead press
Booooooooooooooo
Agree! Would be good to see
These are my favourite videos you guys do. Hoping for more in the future!
Edit: Lmao you just uploaded another one 7 minutes ago, get in.

Great vid as always appreciate the lack of BS
I love these rugby gym session reviews... although I do feel a bit personally attacked after you mentioned the mullets 😂😂😂
Great video, would like to see a video reacting to James Harrisons American football player
You mentioned ankle and knee stiffness training, what would be examples of that or shall I wait to catch a QnA?
Yes to you!

That step raise with the plate might be proprioception training?
What core/midline stuff do you like for weightlifting/powerlifting?
super
I seriously didn’t do high pulls, shrugs and behind the neck press because I thought my neck would break (judging on the zeitgeist of the day)
Bruh we knew nothing, I thought a 315 bench was the epitome of strength and power
What do you mean by a "close grip bench press is what you should be using"?
This just for rugby or?
Do you guys think they should be doing high bar squats instead of low bar, especially given they were doing deadlifts and that?
jump program plox?
Louie Simmons weedgio on weightlifters. I know Zak the Giraffe has already made a video but I would like to hear a reaction weedgio in Irish.
what's weedgio?
I had to have a discussion with my professor because in my S&C class she said “you should NEVER do any sort of behind the neck pressing” …
🤦♂️
She is uneducated
@@ReubenCooper however, she had a PHD 🥲 she let her S&C credentials expire and is somehow allowed to teach an S&C class
What are the key benefits of BTN pressing?
