Yes! These are the sounds and rhythms I hear when I think about drum n bass.
Storm still going it alone, nearly 30 years wow & a lifetime later.
K and S's track selections exist completely independently of genre. The common feature of the tracks is that they sounded right to K and S, and that's it. This is a very, very rare quality for DJs to have, and when you hear it, it means you're dealing with Artists, not just DJs. Highest praise possible. RIP Kemistry. The great ones are never given their full due in their lifetimes.
Very well put! The Enforcers mix CD was the first dnb mix I've ever listened to and still get into it these days - it's so fascinating to discover their other mixes I never got to listen to back then
Always played very future intelligent hard stepping tunes from when I first heard them playing on Eruption FM when they were blowing up big time in 1995
Brilliant comment.
original females of drum and bass xxxxx had the pleasure of seeing them both, bang on every time xxx
idk why but this kind of music makes me super focused and productive
Welcome to ADHD
overactive minds will find this abundance of noise easy to work with.
Almost like the 15 other side of your brain finally have something to stay occupied on while your frontal focuses on something it needs to
@@FinesserX_Triniidadii Can confirm, I have ADHD, and naturally sought out this sort of music to calm my brain, and help me to focus 👍
you may have adhd or other neuroatypical condition
This gets my brain flowing. It feels refreshing to hear this. My energy comes back to me. Like sipping a cold drink on a warm summer day.

RIP Kemsitry the queen of jungle. Big up defection fm and long live metalheadz
I dont think people get the seriousness of this mix. Rarely djs build such sensible mixes. Truly a masterpiece mix, and it stands out head and shoulders above 99% of all d&b/jungle mixes from late 90s I ever heard, and to pull it off with such nasty tracks hehe. Kem&Storm must have been proud of this one ;) much much MUCH appreciated and needed upload. thx indigo78
You're absolutely right. I've heard some of these tracks before in other sets but the clever mixing makes them so much more enjoyable. The transition from "Vicious" to "On The Nile" is godly.
Its F*cking flawless.
The Duo are magicians.
The frequency of sounds spans the entire spectrum in the hearing range opening pathways that were choked or filled with modern day dread and clots of rot.
This is what you make a 5 year old listen to.
We still miss you kemistry
Like taking a cool refreshing drink of water.
Why drum n bass don't sound like this anymore
@@midorian12491 people got caught up in being extremely technical in the studio instead of creating atmosphere
@@alexb618 I'm sad about that.
Ha. E was good for all other tek music but when it came to DnB, gotta kik it up a notch with a buttery smoke of xstal meth. Man i miss those days. 😶🙂
yeah but u dont take water do u, u drink it
I am only coming across this magnificent mix now. I can feel the power and perfection in the musical selection. Just wow 😮
Yea coz you were just a lil kid when this was all the rage. Timeless joy

The algorithm has brought me gold once again!
Damn Kemistry and Storm have the freshest selections.
Quality! Kemistry & Storm always go hard on these mixes.
I wonder if K and S would still like this...I sure as heck like it. So much diversity on this cassette! I've been a dnb fan for over 25 years btw so I can appreciate what they're doing
I've been a dnb fan for about 2 years, and I can attest to my own appreciation as well :3
@@ilikechineseteaespeciallyj7262 Yes Yes
first track sounds like hammers in a warehouse. some serious beatcraft going in there!
Spirit was such a bad man
@@AlegriaDNB yea, youre right the second track i mean.
lol
For all this time, how did I miss this gem ?
21:50 jazzy dnb is fantastic
Idk why but this music always reminds me of the cinematography in movies from the late 90s set in Los Angeles
reminds me of the movie "Pi" (1998)

This is awesome. Where did they get all those beats?
I now realise why I lost interest in drum and bass after that horrible accident.
Indeed your loss.
Most of the time drum loops from old funk records plus sampler magic (in some cases old tracker software, for example protracker on amiga). The most known and iconic example is "The Winstons - Amen Brother", which gave Amen Break to the world, but there are many others.
Anyone know the track that starts at 33:54 and ends around 36:47. Shazam doesn't recognize good music. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did I blow my tweeters or what?
It's more Jungle sound than d'n'b. But it also good vibes!
does anyone know the track that starts around 45:00 cant find it in the tracklist
look at the description
1:02:04 choon
yoooo whats the track at 14min, i cant find it with the tracklist
I dont know it, but that melody is so familiar from some 90's hiphop tune. I hope someone comes in with the answer
I found the sample, Jeru the Damaja- Come Clean. Still dont know this mix tho
Why is the description in wide text lol
ohhhhh i've heard the horns at 48:40 soooo many times but I can't place them
Top Buzz - Living In Darkness
Song at 23:47?
Power puff girls ,??
Dnb was skeletal in their OST
Can it be all so "Simple" 🦾
