This is so inspiring Skylar. I get what you mean by doing the same thing over and over. I find that i’m stuck in a layout rut too sometimes. Especially when i’m pressed for time, i tend to repeat the same style and even using the same embellishments 😂. Thank you for the love. love the layouts! you really hit the nail on the head for me about layout rut. i do find myself doing the same thing over and over. Now that I am journaling everyday, I flip back so that I am pulling from different bits and wash and thinking of new ways to embellish the page (whether heavy or light). it's always a process and I appreciate that you didn't edit out some of the thought process! I have the Love Letter 1 stamps and I don't use them as often as I should! I admire them in my very small collection of stamps. And I am SO GLAD I am not the only one that tears apart the packaging and keep all the decorated bits! often times, its a postage stamp or image that I know I can use for later or for decorating the page to talk about the happy mail/purchase I just received that day. thanks for sharing and making helping my journaling juices flow!
