Something worth mentioning.
The Holy Beasts uphold the space-time of the entire Digital World, an infinite world that exists beyond the Network(multi-layered, 6 layers/dimensions) and Human World(your classic infinite multiverse.) They're literally the pillars that keep the Digital World from collapsing. Like a bridge; destroy the pillars, and the bridge collapses. The bridge would be the Digital World, and it'll be collapsing onto a myriad of other worlds, resulting in a mishmash of worlds or a world of nothing but darkness(nothingness.) The Holy Beasts can also help with the Human World.
And they do this passively.

The best showcase of the four holy beast in game is on Digimon World DS. Them as your overseer is so cool, not to mention later when you fight them. The first time i saw Azulongmon (the alternate name) in front of me as i fight it, like damn, this digimon LIT. The rest is just amazing. Been loving them since then

@@holschermarc i know, right? With its pixelated artwork, the farm viewing, etc, the DS is such a perfect console for the game. But damn if i wish it played on bigger screen, bigger resolution and better graphic just so i can see all these majestic digimon better. Not comolaining the pixel tho, it gives more vibe the the 'digital world' scthick.
Though very improbable, i wish they'll remake at least one out of 4 of the digimon world games from DS. Or at least finally localize the 2 that's stuck on Japan. I mnow that the virtual pet gamplay style is the cult classic, but my first exposure of digimon world games is DMW3, and digimon with turn-based RPG style gameplay is charming for mee, too.

The 4 Dragons
For me personally, it's the 4 holy dragons I prefer. I have always been a fan of dragons, and they all have great designs in my opinion
I just watched Tri again and was just thinking about this last night. Wild lol
this uncle got several names like chinromon, azulongmon and qinglongmon
I always considered Veemon's Armor to Raidramon to be a pre-digivolution of Azulongmon, Raidramon Warp Digivolve to Azulongmon and i always thought it was canon
& I thought Raidramon digivolve to Thunderbirdmon then Qinglongmon.

Meh, I would always think that Airdramon could be Qinglongmon's adult form and Wingdramon/Megadramon/Hisyaryumon/Crys Paledramon for his perfect form.
They would line up nicely, better than Tuskmon and Triceramon.
I prefer Qinglongmon as one of Holy Beasts.
I would put someone else in Four Great Dragons instead of Qinglongmon. Ouryumon, maybe.
For Rookie I like Veemon or Dracomon. I think the only reason Qinlongmon is in both groups is because of the mythology he's based off of. I wouldn't mind if someone else was put in his Great Dragon slot. Not like any of the other match the colors of the Dragon they represent. Well maybe Golddramon.

Qinglongmon is better for Holy Beasts, because of design, lore and Deva.

The triceramon comes from digimon adventure tri where homostais evolved the original digidestined partner into the four holy beast

Tusk mon level must be level 50 to be tricermon
And triceramon must be level 80 to be come azulungmon
Based on plotted story of digimon 1 - tri so its really hard to tamed and evolved that kind of digimon due to hardships and skills
In short sovereing has been fighting their whole life 😭

Actually that Fanglongmon from Xross Wars not the King of 4Holy Beast Sovereign, it got similar power but not the "true" power though.....
In digimon adventure tri it revealed that the four holy beast were the original digidestined partners the one that became qinglongmon was triceramon

I love Digimon Adventure, but the Dark Masters defeating the four gods was bad writing. Puppetmon was iced by Metal garurumon, War greymon tornado dashed through metal seadramon, and sliced up machinedramon. Piedmon was able to defeat both of them, and Magnaangemon handed him his ass and sealed him away even though he was a newly digivolved ultimate. I know more was revealed in Digimon tri but came years later.
@Ned Rostram You're right, I haven't seen the dark master saga since its initial run on Fox Kids. I forgot about puppetmon's fight with metal etemon entirely. One of these days I have to watch 90s series again.
@@nedrostram2360 The Dark Masters as a matter of fact beat the Sacred Beasts in direct combat. A fight that lasted centuries that began even as the kids were making their way trough the Digital World. And nowhere in the novel is it said that the Dark Masters swarmed them with armies. Piemon beat Qinglongmon by himself. Holyangemon didn't do shit other than send Piemon flying, cut trough his sheet and open the gate that sucked him in.
Also did you just say the beasts are not Holy Digimon? It's literally in their fricking name. They are deities only under Yggdrasill or more specifically the Idea of Light that represents Life,Evolution,Existence and the crest traits that would go on to become Yggdrasill. Homeostasis outright denies being a god calling itself just a security system. They are the deities that uphold the space-time of the entire Digital World, an infinite world that exists beyond the Network(multi-layered, 6 layers/dimensions) and Human World(your classic infinite multiverse.) Hikari's light didn't empower Wargreymon, it just rejuvenated Agumon allowing him to evolve. Nothing more nothing less. And that was divine intervention from "God" the Idea of Light that the Digital World chose for itself as ruling concept in its genesis.
@@nedrostram2360 They are written by the director so they are canon wheter you like it or not. And the directors word is gospel. Nowhere neither the anime nor the novel is it said they used their armies. Nowhere. That's your headcanon.
Piemon would have had to severely fuck up Qinglongmon before sealing him. Digimon of the power and status of the Sacred Beasts would not go down being sealed easily. And he did it single handedly.
It only rejuvenated him and allowed him to evolve. Again just like your last point the notion that Wargreymon was powered up is pure headcanon.
And why wouldn't he? He has weapons specifically designed to kill Mugendramon. Why wouldn't he be able to face him on at least equal playing field if he wasn't exhausted.
