That steel going through the windshield was freaky. That cop did a fantastic job backing away from the explosion in the dark. Logging truck accident had nothing to do with the age of the truck. Load was top heavy and he took the corner way too fast. good video thanks.
the bridge beam: hauling extra long loads like this is commonly done with just a small "bogie" acting as the rear of the trailer, and the item itself is the rest of the trailer. in this instance, the tow team didn't mount the beam properly on the bogie unit.
Yeah, I saw three trucks hauling huge girders just the other day and they were doing it the same way. Just gotta do it right.
The bogie hit the concrete barrier, that’s how it came dislodged.
The reason the bogie unit hit the jersey wall was because the pilot failed to correct the steering. He is closer so he controls the track. Standard on any load over a certain length.
@@karenneill9109 huh what happened I wasn’t listening 😅
Sorry😅😢
Why the hell would you stay stationary if there's freaking powerlines falling on your lane
I haven't watched the video, but I'm assuming they mean to stay in your vehicle because it's the safest place to be. You will only get electrocuted if you place your feet onto the ground and allow the electricity to pass through your body.
The rubber tyres provide protection against electrocution.
@castleanthrax1833 not in this case. You'll see.
No shhh!
@castleanthrax1833 He could have driven backwards or turned around.
@slowanddeliberate6893 You're absolutely correct. He definitely could have. I'm not sure what that's got to do with my comment, though.
You weren’t watching the same video we were for number one. The truck on the left (not the small white one) was passing the truck on the right. As the truck on the left was passing he started coming up to a slower truck ahead of him. So the left truck tried to get over into the right lane to pass the slower truck that’s in the left lane. He nearly hit the slower truck in the right forcing it to move further right. The little truck in the rear on the left had nothing to do with any of it.
You beat me to it. Little truck was innocent.
right, it was the truck towing a trailer in the fast overtaking lane that was the asshole, he is blocking up the whole motorway so he can go 2.7mph faster than before, taking about 2 years to overtake, the guy in the truck on the left puts his foot down to get out around the guy who is going to be slowing him down and cuts up the dickhead who has probably been trying to overtake for the last 12 KM
little was a tailgating asshole, but not responsible for this accident. the truck in front tried to change lanes to a spce shorter than his own truck.@@dannylim3318
The only guy who got away was the impatient one and caused that mess.
Still the small truck should never have tailgated the other truck.
Those are not telephone poles but high voltage electric transmission line poles. The logging truck may have been unable to slow down as much as he needed to as he was going down hill. Many of the logging trucks seem to be overloaded and top heavy any way.
I have a feeling that wasn’t just mud in that water🤢🤮
Yup, thinking it was kaka🙀
U r right
I take it that the person driving behind the log truck has never seen Final Destination
Lot's of other " stuff " too that we miss. Years ago probably never would have seen these. Thanks.
HOW CAN ANYONE ACTUALLY ENJOY WATCHING THESE VIDEOS GOOD BYE
Those are power poles, NOT telephone poles!
I love this channel and these videos! Thank you for sharing them with us.
That bumper hitting the windshield is some Final Destination stuff
Yeah, that was absolutely not a new fear unlocked… a lot of us already have that one!
Ik
While there appear to be telephone lines on the poles, they are primarily power poles, energized at dangerous voltage levels.
Thank you for another excellent video !! I was wondering have u done a video about disasters in Canada ? I’m in Alberta . I was just wondering . Keep up the great work
the Edmonton Elks
@ 2:10 The wreck was @ I-40 Exit 407 using the WB offramp. This was prior to the interchange being reconfigured from a normal type interchange into the current configuration of a DDI.
Video announcer needs to learn how to pronounce ‘Sevierville’! It’s called Si-veer-ville, not See-vee-er ville!
Life might be tough, but with a humble lifestyle, one can still overcome challenges 😆
The video with the overhead cables is amazing, I'm from n.ireland haven't seen anything like that since the 60s, didn't think there were cables still like that, ours are all underground
I guess you are paying for those underground power lines every time you turn on a light. Those lines are carrying many tens or hundreds of thousands of volts - to put them underground is way too expensive. There was some location in Los Angeles, California that had an underground high voltage line. The line failed because of expansion and contraction of the conductors that eventually caused them to short out in many places along the 16 km route. The cost to repair that 230 KV three phase line was enormous.
@@johncooper4637 We also have almost everything underground. You don't want to lose power every time a squirrel electrocutes itself. Or get electrocuted because someone hit a pole with their car. Or even just having to unplug everything during a thunderstorm would be annoying. When I was a child we had cables overground and there were numerous occasions my computer rebooted and I lost everything I had been downloading for hours through dial-up. At school we also lost electricity few times a day for a second because of a squirrel. The last time we had a powercut in Helsinki was in 2003. So it's definitely worth putting all cables underground. Next time there is a huge solar storm we will probably have electricity back in minutes/hours when you americans have lost everything and replace transformers for weeks...
Es una llamada de atención que nos inspira a ser más proactivos en el desarrollo de la resiliencia. ¡Excelente trabajo!
hello underworld love your channel
See, that thumbnail freaks me out. One time I was stopped at a red light and beside me was a truck of huge, fat-ass logs, and I spent the rest of the wait pondering how my life currently depended on that one not-so-big looking metal post.
When I was young a friend was with his mom on the highway when a logging truck rushed past them. She was dragged somehow by the draft into the truck. She was killed and my friend ended up with a broken leg.
@@judil3294 omg, that's horrible! I'm sorry for her family
@ 8:25 A Final Destination Moment !!! 😳😫
At 02:10 the huge steel beam needed a steerable rear "dolly", with a human "driver" to ensure alignment so this doesn't happen. Oops !
Number 5 - at some points in the video if you look carefully at the bottom of the shot, you can see that crack in the windshield. So it wasn't the crash that caused it.
The blaze from #3 looks like a volcanic eruption to me. Regardless, you would not want that near you at all. Loved the video!
Este narrador maduro precisa de seu próprio show! Sua paixão por esses momentos de estrada é contagiante.
10:53 I never expected the dash cam layout during 2005 to look this this...

If the trucks have been properly maintained then age is not a problem.
10 failures, proceeds to name 4 in the intro. 😂
Yeah, kind of a spoiler
2:35 the difference between tragic and tragedy is inevitability.............
8:12 ‘80 miles west of Columbus’ More like 23,000 miles.
Yeah, let's not get east and west mixed up now. Whoopsie! Surprised the narrator didn't catch that!
Nice and good
The proper pronunciation of Sevierville ... Think of severe weather. Severe-ville. That accident happened at the Sevierville exit off of I-40. (And, BTW, that pool in #8 was NOT being hauled from the manufacturer. You can tell that was a used pool.)
As a Tennessean (Nashville,) I thank you for that Sevierville correction
5:59 no, not pulled away quickly, slowly as if was waiting for the pole to drop on their heads

#5 - East is to the right on a map with North up, not west, so Cambridge is east of Columbus. Just dropped my kid at college near there :)
My grandfather was a logging truck driver died when my Dad was 12 had a load it shifted he pulled over went to reset the tie down and the logs rolled on him
Omg I'm so sorry. My condolences to your family, belatedly but still
everytime i see one of those logging trucks i think the center of gravity is way way too high.
@@scottmcshannon6821 and those metal poles/braces look like they just slide in there, too.
#9 Locals pronounce it exactly like "se Veer", not "Se vee err". I know that intersection. I recognized the sign for the Bass Pro Shop just beyond that light.
I used to be a local too and will always pronounce it as "Se veer vull" Kinda made me stutter when he enunciated the name 😂
I don’t mess with 18 wheelers. I give them space.
It's to the point, I see crazy stuff in the news I think "Underworld will have the footage."
I saw a video similar to the truck bumper, but it was an axe.
At 7:10...that's Final Destination fear...it's been unlocked for years...
Love your videos and channel however all this going from China, India, Thailand and the U.S. is giving me whiplash! Just saying! 😂 However I find it amazing that it seems every one has a phone/camera recording disasters! We no longer need to send in VHS Tapes to Funny Home Videos, remember that? 😊
In the uk our logging trucks are only 4 years old and commercial this year
Wow, that bogus clip.... I mean bonus clip... what are you talking about??!? It looks like one car might have been bumped slightly. Who writes the BS you say?!?!?
Speed plays an important role in some accidents !! You have to go WAY SLOWER WITH THOSE KIND OF LOADS BECAUSE THEY WILL SHIFT ✅👈❗ SLOWER WILL WIN THE RACE AND GET U HOME !❗✅👈❗❗❗
You sound like both one of those obvious scam bots practically raiding the first reply spot and a "keyword-stuffing" bot that the youtuber NationSquid once had which commented *WAY* too many words and terms that don't make sense with each-other, like a giant word salad.
I don’t know what song the guys in the pool clip were listen to, but I love it and I’m super curious to what what its name is and who sings it!
According to shazam it is Vanotek feat. Eneli - Back to me (N.O.A.H Remix
TURBULENCE FROM THE ON COMING PASSING TRUCK CAUSED THE TRUCK LOADED WITH LOGS TO TUMBLE OVER
2:39 That is a common way to gaul oversize beams. The rear set of axles can sometimes be steerable. However what happened here is I think the chains weren't tight enough or simply not enough of them. As a result the tridem came out of alignment with the beam and the tractor.
4:04 The ppol guy isn't a pro, I'll wager that was an installer that apparently didn't think the wind qould be that big a deal. To transport and wide load requires permits and if it's big enough an escort.
13:37 That looks like a bearing collapsed.
Very nice information. KHB LHR
Thanks to this channel I know there’s such a thing as a prefecture-level city. Someday I’ll bother to google that and find out what the crud a prefecture-level city is.
Also I realize it all went down quickly but if you have reason to think a logging truck is unstable maybe try 911 instead of just getting yourself a nice video to upload? If it had all happened on a left turn one of those cars could have been crushed. I don’t think I’d feel great about myself if my only response was to watch, no, to film some random person or family getting crushed by logs. Didn’tdo the driver any good either way.
NONE of this was shot by the guy who uploaded this. This narrator says things like "our camera person" etc but its not true. They just get permission to use other peoples clips.
@Nash1a The OP wasn't referring to this site, but to the person who originally filmed it.
Hello, is there a new part of the Underworld movie?
16:10 The white trucks changed lanes too close to the brown trucks. Therefore the brown truck had to brake hard and left the road.
Also, the white truck was way too fast
# 1 was not the small trucks fault, but the Semi in front of them! Tailgating was bad yes. But the trucker should have done nothing but keep driving.
i like this
In number 9 that couldve been fixed with a bit of fancy rope work.
As for the scene with the pool falling over on the truck, as an ex pool guy I would have spoke with the homeowners and explain to them that the only way to save the situation was to continue to patch the cracks and holes the best you can then drop the fiberglass pool into its hole, now treated like a liner job put in your vermiculite light concrete mixture smooth it all out drop your liner in now the homeowner has an extremely nice pool for a great great deal and the problem is kind of soft but it's the best you can make up the situation😂
It was an old pool that they were taking to the dump.
@@karenneill9109 how would you know that wasn't even in our country
@@voiddweller5331 I was going by the fact that it was cracked before the accident, that the inside was filthy, peeling and a variety of sun bleached colours.
@@karenneill9109 Yes I looked at the video again and you are correct the pool was on its way to the dump but it's still ended up in the middle of the road lol
Do you also tell them to use punctuation marks?
In the 80s not sure exact date but log truck completely annihilated 2 families going on a hay ride here in NB Canada.
The power wires: More than $100,000.
Funny he called them telephone poles first🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢
I don’t know how that’s 2 cm unless his head was laying on the steering wheel.
I think he did say from his hand.
at 1:50....its Se-veer- ville.......like 'severe'......
I might be wrong, but at 10:00 the video looks like Toronto, actually.
in the last one, the right hand truck caused the problem initially by blocking the road driving in the wrong lane, he wasnt overtaking....yes the small truck shouldnt have tailgated, he looked frustrated at the driver
10:03 this is Toronto, not Xuzhou.
The last video in Thailand is the Trailer stubbornly keep on hogging the fast lane and the two smaller trucks became irritated, the truck that sways back did it intentionally since he is angry with the trailer mover who hogged in the passing lane, Thai drive on the left and heavy vehicle should drive on the left all the time and in the speed limit
age had nothing to do with that log truck. it wasnt loaded right. it was mixed instead of bigger heavier logs on the bottom and getting smaller to the top.
Log truck was overloaded.
#7 That was no telephone pole.
"About 80 miles West..."
*look at pin of Cambridge, Ohio then look at where Columbus is*
Um, you EAST of Columbus 😅
15:59 Tailgating is wrong. But the tailgating truck did not cause the accident. The semi in front has no obligation to pull over until it is safe to do so, and he couldn't stop quick enough to cause an accident if he wanted to. But notice there is a slower truck braking ahead of the semi. This braking truck causes the semi to try to pull over, and he does so without making sure there is room behind him. This causes the accident. Also, the truck passing another truck in the opening scene of this segment is making a normal maneuver to pass a slower vehicle. So why does the narrator present it as some dangerous driver? Where the passing lane is open and there are no oncoming cars, you are indeed allowed to pass.
How do you actually get the big beam from A to B?
By strapping it on correctly.
More carefully than they did apparently
That last one is hardly the fault of the little truck, sure its a bad idea to tail people (esp big trucks), but that was 100% the middle trucks fault for trying to shoot a motorcycle sized gap in an 18 wheeler.
That sign at 09:46 is not in Cambridge, Ohio.
11:40 lol which homeless person living under a rock lit up a cigarette? They should have just quit. 😅
Drive as though every other driver is crazy including truckers. In the winter semis can throw huge quantities of snow on your windshield. This is especially true of UPS trucks and their competitors: FedX, Deutsche Post, International Distribution Services, and Yellow. The drivers have absolutely no concern after they've dumped wheel barrow loads of snow onto your wind shield . Theycontinue to drive unconcernedly down the road.
Behind the scenes, trucking companies lobby public officials to make it more difficult to sue them and to limit the amount of the verdict. If one is severely injured and needs assistance changing a catheter or rolling over in bed, medical bills can exceed $750,000 easily. Some states only require truckers to carry $750,000. When you consider that you can't work after being seriously injured, you can picture the magnitude of the problem you may face in the future.
☺Jak widać po tych zdarzeniach jankesy to skończone durnie.
Catastrophic? Should’ve titled this “a few small accidents”
If you see electric poles done, don't you, dear, get out of your car ever.
I understand what you're getting at, but to not get out of their car EVER?
C'mon mate. 😂😂😂
But if you have to, pee directly on the sparks to put out the fire.😂
sorry I don't know how to spell it but Mr jung is one lucky man.
Some of these were stupidity to dangerous 🙂🌺
Re, the last video. The white truck was wrong for tailgating but he didn't cause the accident. The trucks were impeding traffice. Whichever is the dominant lane of traffic left or right.(here is right lane in the US) that vehicle caused the wreck because of their driving in the wrong lane. You pass and move over when clear. Not camp in the slow lane.
You ALWAYS camp in the slow lane if you are the slower vehicle.
The truck ahead of the small one cut off the truck in the left lane, causing him to swerve. Not sure what the original commenter was trying to say.
4:58 people like this wouldn’t survive if it was for the government
Bullsheet commentary. The last clip was not caused by the small truck - although he was tailgating. The truck ahead of him swerved to avoid another truck which triggered the event.
Why do you have to spoil it with the intro showing what is going to be coming up it spoils the fun
The pole was not a telephone pole. Obviously it was a high voltage transmission line. Do you even LOOK at the video?
As a 39 + year trucker the age of the truck didn’t turn this logging rig over inexperience of the drive letting someone load his truck to high , and those split logs don’t play u better know what ya doing hauling them
Wow, the narrator butchered the pronunciation of Sevierville. It's pronounced SEVERE-ville.
He also botched the location of Cambridge OH, which is 80 miles EAST of Columbus, not west as the directionally-challenged narrator states.
