@@doubleuu2538 for instance let's take maybe Beckham or Ronaldo as an example, both are really fair celebrities, or maybe any average fair looking guy, these people can pull off this look quiet neatly, whereas if you do this to a dark skin coloured person maybe from Indian regions, they'll not pull it off as easier as fair skin people do :) You yourself can see the difference so you kinda get where I'm going, all these differences apart, if you're confident regardless of your faceshape, skin tone etc. then go ahead and get the haircut as your comfort and confidence matters more than just fashion differences :P
You can't imagine how grateful I am you showed us what lengths you're using on the clippers. Now that I've learned a little, maybe the barbers will stop trying to give me a stinkin' undercut.

Sometimes simplity is better than any highlights.
Personally, I chose to cut my hair short because it takes too long to style a longer hair.

Classic hair actually was longer on top and shorter back and sides. Look at hair from the 20s-60s. Most of the men's hair was longer at the top and than a low fade, especially in the 20s and 30s. I personally love that look. Kind of like Shemp on 3 stooges or Jerry Lee Lewis or Cab Calloway or Charlie Chaplin. Classic and timeless. Or you could go the Elvis route or James Dean but still the hair is longer on top. Crew cuts are more military. I like them. I've had my hair kept very short for a long time. Now I tend to have it longer on top to show the natural curl and the bottom is kept very short (almost skin fade but not quite) faded into the top.

How would this go with very fine blonde hair? I usually get a #2 on top with a high skin fade, but am looking to grow it out a bit for school. I still want it to look sharp and clean.
Thanks for asking, blond hair will appear shorter because of the color and skintone, that's the only factor you have to consider befor the cut.

I’m 65 yo and I’ve never seen a barbershop offer that level of service. Course I haven’t been to a barber in decades, I’m a flowbee guy and my daughter helps. Is there a name for that kind of service and where do you find it? I’m tired of the flowbee.
You can find a good hairdresser studio or a professional barber! Our studio is located in Denmark, but there has to be many good, professional places around the world 👍🏻
