Favorite Resident Evil 4 Enemy?
Definitely The Regenerators as they are absolutely terrifying! 😅
Has to be Doctor salvardo!😎👍
Salazar! But the regenerators are up there :3
Gotta be the Ganado man. Something about their presence just makes you feel right at home in this game 🔥
Gotta give it to Verdugo (executioner in Spanish)
He gave me nightmares on the original release
Man, you fumbled the El Gigante lore. It wasn't created by altering a human adult, it's clearly implied in the in game texts that it was created via injecting the Plaga into a fetus and then given birth to. The village had to basically sink all of their resources into raising every one of them until maturity.
okay👍
Was about to comment that .
@@xTeslasome sources say the verdugo was actually a maid. There’s actually an in game note you find talking about it
@@timedwards6765 I’ve read the same note. It’s someone who helped around the house and deeply cared about Salazar, most people interpret it as a maid or a butler. I’ve always gone the butler route
@@xTesla It's definitely a maid, because it was Pesanta, the Verdugo is Isidro
Regarding the Regenerator, the reason to that it has this erratic breathing, is because its heart grew too much, that it is constricting its lungs, making their breathing erractic and forced.
The plagas really look like facehuggers lol particularly the "royal" one in the original cut of Alien 3.
Some of these people dont realize how much work it takes to make ANY kind of video and edit it the way you did! You killed it fam! 🔥 keep up the work
creators like to exaggerate. Every 13 year old can do such a thing. That is not difficult. Might take 2-3 hours and you are done. I know it, I did such things when I was 13. And I didn't even have professional tools. Movie Maker didn't have multiple sound tracks so you can imagine what I did to add new ones: Rendering the video and putting another track over the already existing one. So someone like him has a golden life with all the pro tools.
@LakituKoopa Lol. Brother I'm the one who edited the video and you're out of your mind if you think it takes 2-3 hours. I doubt you've touched editing software in your life if you're delusional enough to think it's that easy 😂
@@OfficialGamerVault You want a medal?
@@LakituKoopayou have no idea what you’re talking about, chump
@@OfficialGamerVault Well, my projects are now more ambitious since I started working as the head of marketing department for a company. Takes me actually now about 5-6 but still, creating assets saves a lot of effort and time and makes stuff pretty easy.
Is No one gonna talk about how good the editing is... Top Notch Man 🔥 🔥
Shoutout to Kract 🐐
That's what I thought right at the beginning. 🔥😎

My lil 4 yr old nephew walks around saying glory ah la plagues and I eat my asshole now after watching me and his 12 yr old brother play re4 remake. He also says he has the t virus every time he gets a cold or flu
Uh what
@@aaronjames3228 he repeats what he thinks the ganados say
@@bobborlog1677 oh lol
That’s exactly what I do 😭
Great video man, keep up the work!
Such a good deep dive. Adds so much more depth to my playthroughs 🙀🙈!
You have clear and perfect delivery in your video. Transitions are perfectly timed, clip selection is top notch, pacing with audio and clips is smooth as butter. Not only is the re4 video informative with awesome info but the editing is just as good! Keep up the GREAT work . Huge fan btw. 😊
It's A.I it's literally a bot talking
I was literally looking for this video lol as I just bought the original 2005 game today Thank You! ❤👍
Just?
@@SpawnF Yeah lol I bought it 30 minutes before he uploaded this video so I looked for videos about the game and then I saw this when it said uploaded 2 minutes ago oh and I bought it because I realised it was on sale and wanted a new game too try and heard it was very good 👍
@@TheClownFromDBDhow do you like it
Correct me if im worg but isn't the gaint was a baby that grow to this size in like 6 months according to the diary after you killed the first one, in his small cave you'll find it next to a cow's bones.

@@josephjoestar995 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm sowy for that
1) I love you content!! 👏🏼
2) 15:55 the sound effects killed me 😂😂😂
This is awesome can't wait to see the rest of the series
Very good video, one bit that sticks out tho is that you say Ganados have ‘higher intelligence and coordination.’ Than zombies yes but not people in general. That bit only sticks out as the video is otherwise near perfect hah, good work.
Another outstanding video could you please do a video on All of Birkin's G transformations? Thanks.
We could potentially do a William Birkin video in the future but as of now we have plans to cover the lore of enemies for each resident evil game
@@evilblitz 🙂👍🏻
The og resident evil 2 birkin Hound form was a OH SHI!!! moment
@@falloutthewindowcrazy7608 Hell yeah!😄
@@soulreaver1983 bloody deadly too 😅🤯☠️
So they did experiment on children. No wonder none were around.
Ty for this video ❤ love the explanation of the stories 😅 I love RE4 remake and the original, lol the EL GIGANTE , AI looks like a troll lol 😂
The regeneradors still haunts me
Same, that breathing sound is terrifying
Regenerators
Same, the breathing noise they make always creeped me out
I got my revenge when I pulled out the big one spent all I had for the infinite rocket launcher
amazing video. When I played the remake for the first time, the regenerators scared me so much I had to pause a few times.
Every creatures in this game is terrifying from crawling Plaga Parasites to Osmond Saddler. The best in the series. Great lore explanation Evil Blitz❤❤❤
Incredible video to my favorite title! One enemy I really wanted to know more about was the Super Salavdor in the mercenaries Island map with the double blade chainsaws. I assume it's nothing crazy but I'm curious about his lore
Sadly, there's only fan theories for super salvador. Missed opportunity imo
@@evilblitz I mean technically he is a special enemy, nothing more, nothing less. Indeed learning about its lore would be interesting but since it never showed up in the main game he never got that lore. Could have had a secret file, like the special files you had gotten in the Ghost Survivors of RA2R being they had special enemies you had to learn about, so maybe they could have hidden a file about him on his stage somewhere.
@@seandunne4931 good point
@@evilblitz Ok, appreciate it
Great video, well done
I absolutely love watching this cause I don't play the game but watch people play it and always wondered some of the backstory of the enemies. Can't wait for the next video on this
Playing games is better than watching someone else to do it.
yooo this vid was very nice and interesting!
Very nice video keep it up 👏
I can’t wait for the next video
WHOOOHOOO! Jeez these videos are so great and the photos make everything so cool and creepy at the same time. Not to mention the cool videos of the game. Great job!
Great video bro
Thanks man
Hi new here and this is a lovely video! Keep it up
What's more disturbing is that in the new game, reading some of the science notes suggests that some of the victims used to make a lot of the bioweapons were children. If I remember correctly, the Novistadors (Big Bugs) were said to have been made from the fetuses of pregnant women. ☠
Damn that's fucked up
Thanks You Evil Blitz For Doing Disturbing Enemy Lore of Resident Evil Games Please Do Disturbing Enemy Lore of Silent Hill Games
My dude could not go without mentioning the Hookman once lol! 🤣 Never change Evil Blitz!
this is just sheer nostalgia & euphoria re4 lets gooooooooooo
Mr. Krauser really had things rough.
P.S. Would you do a Disturbing Enemy Lore (Resident Evil: Revelations) after Resident Evil 5?
We will get around to resident evil revelations but we plan on covering the mainline games first
@@evilblitz Sounds great!
Im very impressed by the delivery of the video. Do you plan to go into other games lore ?
Yeah be sure to check out the other games we are all the way up to resident evil 7 right now🔥
do not use the article "the" when saying "el,la,los, las" in spanish. "el,la,los, las" are the one article "the" , so you just have to say " Las plagas. los iluminados, el gigante" instead of " the los iluminados, the las plagas, the el gigante" , if you do , is like saying " the the plagas, the the iluminados , the the gigante.. etc"
Unless they are talking of it as a group name hence ‘the “los illuminados”’ also assuming the los to be titular. He is correct. Los illuminados is another word for ‘the illuminati’ or ‘the enlightened ones’ the is a part of the title
This ain't no foreign language study group.
Watching this while taking a bath is even more relaxing
The use of ai is kinda....cringy?
good upload
Krauser is interesting because he reminds me of a tengu, both in his mentorship turned rivalry of Leon, the way he betrayed his oath as a soldier to serve and protect, and the way in the remake he talks about casting aside his frailty as a human being. According to legend, the Daitengu were once warrior monks who betrayed their oath on the path of Buddhism. They were supposedly the ones to teach humans how to make and fight with bladed weaponry. If the circumstances were right they could be persuaded to help a human hero. But like all Yokai, they tended to embody a force of nature, in this case forest, the wind, and swordsmanship. The latter two are prominent in Krauser's combat style. Crows, found throughout the game, have a number of symbolic meanings in Japanese art and mythology, being affiliated with the Tengu, the season autumn, and death. A common Japanese aesthetic is that of impermanence, the idea that the frailty of human life makes it extra valuable. Even though they're two American soldiers fighting in Spain, this set of symbolism used in Krauser's design and the bossfight with him in RE4R is Japanese through and through.
Other notes; I don't believe the Comillos were made by the Illuminados, I suspect they are a naturally occuring infection varient of the Las Plagas parasite. It was probably a comillo that bit Luis' grandfather, sickening him and eventually leading to Luis running away and joining Umbrella. After all, when we visit the part of the lake where Luis' childhood home was at night, once we leave the area locked with the Illuminados Emblem key we are attacked by a large group of them. It could be that the Illuminados figured out how to make them after finding them in the wild. Likewise, I wonder if the Novistadors might be able to develop the ability to live independently of Saddler. The size of their hive and the numbers they appear in in the game imply that their population is self sustaining, aka they breed.
The fact that the las plagas parasite was found encased in amber indicates that it's millions, possibly hundreds of millions of years old. IRL we did have an era of giant insects, including dragonflies the size of eagles, six foot long centipedes, and spiders the size of manhole covers. The adult plaga we see jumping on zealots and controlling them like puppets would have been right at home in the carboniferous era. Their size is about right. However the insects of the carboniferous died out as a result of changes to the atmosphere that made their large size untenable. The theory I heard as to why the planet became that way in the first place was that the evolution of wood disrupted the carbon cycle, resulting in a dense oxygen rich atmosphere, making it easier for insects to breathe and large arthropods to be sustained on land. This observation and paralels are part of a theory/headcanon I have that the resident evil pathogens found in the wild, Progenitor Virus, Plaga Parasite and the Megamycete Mold are actually hundreds of millions of years old. Microbiologist and youtuber Roanoke Gaming once commented that in order for Progenitor and all the viruses that Umbrella and others made afterwards to be able to infect both plants and animals, and to infect such diverse animals as sharks, dogs, fleas and humans (fleas if you're curious turned into the Drain Deimos parasite that attacked Jill in the RE3 remake, their body plan is almost identical) it would have had to be at least as old as the split between animals and plants. IRL scientists have long searched for traces of a life form they call LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor), the one microbe from which all life on earth descends. Though no trace has been found thus far, its possible the search for LUCA IRL may have inspired the makers of Resident Evil when they created the progenitor virus.
One thing I was reminded of as I fought my way through the older parts of the island was the exile of Napoleon Bonaparte after he failed to conquer Europe. I suspect that until Saddler took control, the Illuminados cult was exiled to the Island. We find the grave of someone with the surname Saddler, probably an ancestor or maybe Saddler's father. And I think we find the writings of another person with that surname while collecting documents. Documents found in the castle meanwhile imply a hidden culture in the Valley geared around keeping the Plaga parasite in containment. They spoke about it as if they considered it a sacred duty. If knowledge of what was sealed under the castle faded from memory for the villagers, it would explain how they weren't on guard against the Los Illuminados missionaries that arrived in their village with Saddler.
Fun fact, Del lago has FEETS! I think he's a mutant salamander!!
Anyone else notice that the Merchant has bloodshot eyes and uses the plural pronouns?
I think there WAS some light shed on the origins of the Verdugo in RE4 Remake. IIRC you can find some letters that seemed to belong to two servants of the Salazar family hinting at them being the subjects whom would be transformed into these creatures. One was blindly loyal to Salazar, and another saw his true evil nature, but was afraid of speaking against him openly. But this is off my memory, so take it with a grain of salt.
Two things that weren't mentioned that I also don't know too much of are the Black Water & the Ritual. These are what are responsible for some of the mutations. We see a Castle Zealot giving some Black Water to Ashley in the Remake to conclude the Ritual. This was supposed to grant her additional powers similar to Bitorez Mendez & Salazar, as explained in the old RE4. I can only assume that these were also what made some of the enemies, like the Verdugo, & not just some additional experimentations.
Again we see in the Remake how a Red Castle Zealot awakens El Gigante through a chant & also summons the Plaga to burst out of the Castle Zealot Ganado in the Castle. These methods were also used to create further mutations & enhance the Plaga & not just mere surgical instruments & experimentations alone.
And just a side note, since Wesker trained Krauser, that is the reason Krauser can run real fast & jump real high. Resident Evil 4 is, in a way, a display of how Leon would be able to fight Wesker & come out victorious. So in Resident Evil 6 Leon might have been able to go toe to toe with Jake.
Mendez looks like if rasputin never died and has been working out for years
the "Vertigo" XD
Another great video 😃
I'm... almost certain one of the Verdugos was a Butler loyal to the Salazar family
If i remembered correctly In the remake they rewrote the gigante's origins to that of a baby successfully infected with the plaga and then it mutated rapidly and used them to mine or to defend in the castle, it's been a while since I had read the note that revealed it in-game in the remake
Saw this just in time for naptime 😊
Garradors dont have eyes because when they were made they would attack everyone and everything they saw. So they had to take their eyes and chain them up
31:39 - an enemy not mentioned. I don't know if anyone else saw this but it looks like there's a child with a machete hacking away at his knees. No mention of this enemy.
I thought my screen was getting damaged again.
Scared the crap outta me.
I just fixed my laptop screen last month
21:28 either the cover artist from the original resident evil drew this or you used ai cause what gun is that supposed to be
Saddler took advantage of salazars poor health and his mother was convinced to infect him with the plaga to "cure" him. How come thats left out? Its in a memo in the game. After that is when he broke the seal.
I love RE4 and it’s setting. What’s great is that if you know Spanish, some of these names give better context, such as the Ganados basically translating to Cattle.
They're missing a few enemies from that game. The Wasp Samurais and the Colossal Ruin, and those cannon crabs that have a canon for a pincer and they light it up using a cigar they smoke.
I love both the original or and the remake RE4 minus the loss of key boss fights, and the fact (it wasnt working before anyways) not able to play the mercenaries remake on PS4, so far nothing i did fixed the "mercenaries does not show up on the menu" no matter what!
Hookman??? Thats a thing? Omg i never heard of it! Would be cool to see such enemy in future games. And now that i think of it maybe they wanted something like mr x in re4 which was the hookman 🤔.
I don't know what was worse, the zombie dogs on resident evil or these dogs that sprout tentacles on resident evil 4
I always theorized that the Bella sisters were the result of how the plaga might react with a set of twins. Then again I was only 12 when I first played it so we were all spitting out crackpot theories back then 🤣
The El Gigante is actually a baby
I thought doctor Salvador using a tool such as a chainsaw instead of something precise like a scalpel showed his mental degradation
The whole children part is freaky
The reason you never encounter them is more than just making it not too cruel to shoot kids..but because they literally died from the plagas
I wish you went more in depth on the Verdugo. They have some really good lore in the remake.
I can picture Verdugo represent capcon in a versus game like Marvel vs. Capcom.
Every map in this game is such a masterpiece or lore and architecture 😢 Village/ castle/island .. the weapon system , design of enemies, Ada ❤ Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece
I'm pretty confident that I'm not the only one that's super glad they took RE4 in the direction they did.
Question are you going to cover re 0 ? A lot of people who played it do consider it a major part of canon
Yep I'm covering all the games
I really appreciate the editing and the voice over here, but the writing is really giving me GPT vibes
Edit: yeah now after finishing the video I can pretty confidently say AI wrote this. Or at least a big part of it
Saddler turn from "Darth Sidious" to the Nosferatu.
The hookman may have kept in the survival horror aspect of the game even if it's into the action horror bit.
When are you gonna do re5 and Re6??
They are the next videos planned
why do i feel like the script of this video is written by ai
They also imply the Novistadors were grown inside the wombs of women who then gave birth to the insects.
i would still like to see a re rts
Sometimes I think it's a little silly how Wesker used Ada to do his dirty work in RE 4 (Specifically RE 4 remake where we literally see him on the island, even helping Ada at one point.)
Like, this dude already has the Uroboros in him (If the Mercenaries mode version of him is canon at this point). He could have just ran through every enemy in the game and took whatever he wanted lol
In remake, Salazar was already bad before the Parasite, said in some of files
You got the Verdugo’s history totally wrong. Did you even play the remake? Because you find diaries explaining that the Verdugo used to be a servant of Salazar. I don’t recall his human name that was mentioned but he wrote in his diary that he WILLINGLY devoted himself to the experiments to serve Salazar as he had devoted himself to serving the previous castellions.
Who's the 3rd enemy in the beginning of the video?
Resident Evil 3.5 (hookman) needs a remake!
I feel like Los Illuminados should have been a bigger enemy for multiple games (like a trilogy atleast
What do you mean
@@aaronjames3228Like how Umbrella was the "big bad" for a stretch of the game's story. It would have been cool if Los Illuminados were the "big bad" for a stretch. I 2nd that motion. It could have been cool if Los Illuminados caused an outbreak throughout Spain and maybe took control of the government, religion and military and started a war or something of the like. Like a new "Holy war" to spread Las Plagas.
They are. Los Illuminados are mentioned again in the movie Resident Evil: Vendetta featuring Chris, Rebecca & Leon. In Resident Evil 5 Chris mentions the Ganado & refers to Leon as "Kennedy." Also Resident Evil: Damnation we see Ada giving the Plaga to someone at the end.
is this all AI? the words repeat and repeat
The hookman was to advanced at the time I believe
Bitores Mendez is Resident Evil 4's version of Mr. X or Nemesis
so the novistadors were simple flies
Old RE4 is the only game in my collections that could f*ck you up even when you're playing it using gameshark/action replay cheats.
It's all thanks to the sheer amount of instant death QTE and the existence of salvador, belsis, del lago, and krauser
Anybody noticing the lore for each of these are basically saying the same thing ? “[insert enemy] is a result of bioengineering [insert lifeform] to protect…”
Well that’s basically how the in game explanation goes most of the time
So taking a small vote is the last of us enemies scarier or resident evil 4 remake?
You forgot the boxed snakes
Amazing video except the tearing lines they started to really get to me
Tearing lines?
@@evilblitz the filter on some of the clips, like old movie screen tearing
@@noonyabeezniss4911 ahh gotcha, thank you
I feel as though so parts of the lore are missing/incorrect. Two examples i can think of right now:
1. The El Gigantes are the children of the village who were infected and lived, growing to gigantic sizes because their bodies weren't fully developed
2. Novistadors have mangled human skeletons, the rib cage being used to guard their wings
(I'm not a huge fan of RE, these facts were told to me, I'm sorry either facts incorrect, just thought something wasn't right)
You think JJ might be a nod to Barret from FF7?
Ver doo go
jack krauser
that can be more good if the remake not be in
I’m a native Spanish speaker and Colmillos is pronounced with a “y” where the double “l” is.
Some lore are messed up, check info
Poor Leon
Glorious Las Plagas
the use of AI is well done here, images and script both
