So happy & relieved I came across this video. During pregnancy recently my hips have become unbelievably tight especially during sleep. These simple exercises have really helped to reduce the tightness in my hips & I feel so much better! Big thanks! :)

lol thankfully the first stretch is one I’m very familiar with due to chronic hip tightness but I hadn’t done it in a while. Fortunately doing it again at 37.5 wks wasn’t too bad! 😅

I used this last year when I had a baby in my tummy and it worked great. I came back because I got diagnosed with chronic back pain and it still helps

This was AMAZING!!! That first stretch helped immensely. I’m 17 weeks. If I do a lot during the day, when I sit down at the end of the day for a bit and get up, I can hardly walk cuz the pain on my left side. I have to walk it out and I know it will be back. Did this and wow! Pain is gone. I’ll be doing these every day!

I’m 10 weeks and thought it was way too early but it’s my left hip it hurts so bad! I’m going to start doing these
The first stretch is probably not for anyone after 1st trimester since you start getting your tummy out and its not safe to bend for long everyday when you hit your second trimester. The Second one is excellent for all three trimesters.
You can keep you back tall, no need to bend forward all the way. Still does the job
19 weeks and managed to do both and felt the stretch- this is my 3rd pregnancy and the first time I've had such awful pain waking me up now that im sleeping on my side. Hopefully this helps!

Will deliver around same time . Had same problem this three times a day has worked for me to topped with a pregnancy pillow
I’m also 19 weeks and may lower back and coxal bones are killing me . I can’t sleep, I’ve tried with pillows in between the legs but it’s still the same . I have scoliosis also . I’ll try these exercises also , hope it works
How many times do you recommend repeating these exercises/ stretches? I.e 3 reps of 30 seconds?
Best to do each stretch once and hold for up to 60 seconds. 👍
