- Dylan Larkin scores his very first NHL goal as a Detroit Red Wings player at the famous Joe Louis Arena on October 9, 2015, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The final score was 4-0 wings! This was the opening night of the 2015-16 season.
I just figured I'd share this video of my cousin and I at what would be one of our last games at the classic Joe Louis Arena. The Red Wings play their first regular season game at Little Caesars Arena tonight against the Wild! I just hope they can install the actual Buell Reed goal horns from JLA into LCA very soon. It hasn't been the same with using a recording as a goal horn... - Sport
Coming from a leafs fan there was just something special about that arena all the memories all the classic music and the classic players like datsuk and more

My first ever game at the Joe was January 17, 2007 and I have been to 209 games at the Joe including this one and the last game of it. I still miss this arena to this day.
