  • Cliffe Knechtle has a great conversation with college students at a campus in the southwest US.
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This was an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Also being African or black is what our kidnappers had lead us to believe we are, when in reality our identity is in Christ, we are all made in his likeness and image. Race is a social construct. It’s part of the curse we have been put under for our disobedience and rejection of God. We are the true Israelites, but still that is not our identity. Just an explanation to why we suffer the way we do in America. Put your faith in Christ that he was sent by God to bleed and die on the tree to take the punishment of our sins so that we may be forgiven and live in eternal life with him in heaven. Don’t identify with what American says. God Bless you brother.

The issue with the first guys thought process is I don't agree all suffering is wrong. Without some suffering, we will never strive to become better. As a 40-year-old man when I work out, it's painful, but I know the suffering I experience in the moment will be beneficial for me in the long run. When I save it hurts, because I want to buy the nicest car, the nicest house, the nicest clothes, but I know saving now well again, the beneficial to me in the long run.

It’s because that specific religion is most dominant in that country. Personally I do believe a lot of people in America are Christian because they were born there. A lot of them do not know most of the Bible and don’t know anything about other religions. So I would say it’s safe to assume that some people just follow what they know without actually reading about it. Prove to me that it could be possibly offensive given that cliff is not Christian just because he is born here. He know a lot about the Bible.
