I played an 82 minute conquest game as aphro support and it felt like pure purgatory by the end
I want a Smite Night gamemode where it is just an arena map that is 10v10 (or 8v8 if 10v10 is to large).

Thor is weird because his damage was fine before but the double tap could feel really bad to hit depending on ping, it feels like the buff was almost to help those situations but when he does double tap you'd be dead either way wall dmg or not
Speed buff just feels faster and easier to roll off the tongue than yellow buff
The real question Is why dont we call purple buff "Attack speed protection reduction buff"
It's actually the void buff
Which is shorter to say than purple

Hmm, honestly if I remember correctly, one of the reasons PewDiePie's meme reviews became such a hit in the first place was for the same reason, in the first ones he actually explained some of the background for the memes and people really appreciated that. longest conquest match i had was 57mins, the enemy team was skilled and had me at the edge of my seat all game. Took a break from conquest for 3 weeks

Honestly I’m not sure if this is the reason, but in CoD we try to find the shortest word for a call out.
So speed is called speed because it’s one syllable rather than yellow because it’s two. Same reason I shortened purple buff to purp.
all my conq games go like at least 35 mins + it’s painful but i like it
Every time someone in game says "have fun" i always say "No"
Yeah I love the brain-dead players who either:
a) go "defend" FG when all of the enemy team is a minimum of 80% hp and all of them are alive, while his team is dead except him
or
b) spam "defend FG" while again enemy team is 80% hp and his team is dead except for 1 player. Then they rage bc that 1 player didn't suicide.
Also, there is a third type of long conquest games- where one team refuses to end it. I have been in 50+ min games where my team could have ended it around 30 min, but apparently stealing enemy buffs were more important than taking their titan down. We had taken 2 phx down, picked them all off, just walk into their base and throw everything at the titan and end the game. Then both phx respawned, my team forgot how to group up and we had an extra 20+ min of the game.

2:36 I was literally 1 win away from masters last season. I’ve never tried ranked because I just don’t enjoy sweating solo q, but I said fuck it. Just one win away. Diamond 1. 75 tp. The next win would give me 25.
And I lost so many games from f6’ing I reset back to 0. The rankings hard reset the next day.

"Red buff", "Blue Buff" and "Purple buff" are all faster callouts than "Power buff", "MP5 Buff" and "Attack Speed" buff.
But saying "Speed Buff" is faster than "Yellow Buff."
