that's what I am saying. between sydney and dewey I never understood why the writers never showcased there grief of losing tatum. it was a slap in the face to the character because tatum was Dewey's actual sister and a damn good friend to Sydney so I would have liked to see more reflection from the two of them about how they felt about losing tatum
At the very least, we got to see Dewey had her ashes on a mantel in Scream 5, but I agree. With her as one of my large favorites, it sucks she doesn’t get much acknowledgment. A ride or die friend, a funny character, snippy, and a great sister to Dewey I bet. But now, I’m sure they’re both together again…

And those three are Judy hicks, Wes hicks, and Dewey Riley. The quote Oliva said "time for someone new to die gave me chills." And it came true in scream (2022).

I loved that scene with Trevor & Jill. It woulda made her reveal even more surprising cause she faked her sweetness in that last moment with him, before tying him up. Woulda been a great surprise

technically the line is "the first 3 were about S P. but she threatened to sue them if they used her story so then they started making stuff up.". So one could argue that they could have still featured a "Sidney" character but that the storylines were all unrelated to the real of course course it's stretching it but but they then said in 20222 that she's not in part 8. given that Stab 7 is shown to exist in part 4 that means the events of part 4 have not been made into a film adaptation either way.

She was only a little girl and probably ws told the full details as she was so young. Hearing it from the actual horses mouth is always more of a shock also. Thats what i always assume and tell myself anyways lol
These are all in the scream 4 extended version (which u can watch on CZcams). These scenes add more depth to the film instead of the theatrical version seems a bit rushed
The fountain scene brings it together, Hicks talking about the coordinates, all of these make the movie make so much sense and scream 4 is my favorite sequel

That’s called ADR and is very common in films where you can’t see the actor/actress speaking. It’s a ‘placeholder’ meaning before the edit was locked off - Courtney would have come in and done a re-record of the line to match it up
The fountain scene should have stayed in the movie. The new kids needed the character development. Kate and Sidney definitely should have had an actual conversation about Maureen! By taking out all the scenes about Tatum and Marnie and Jenny’s murders, Gale’s line at the press conference mentioning the murders mimicking the original Woodsboro murders makes no sense and is never brought up again. I also thought there was a scene where Sidney’s doctor at the hospital after Olivia’s death is shown to be Steven Orith’s brother.

true. the alternate opening is so much better. the one they used is literally what they're parodying: unoriginal and predictable openings from Stab
Its because Ghostface always starts with a phone call. That's why they used that opening even thought alternate was more horrific.

@cindy anally wisconsin given Kevin Williamson helped write the screenplay it's even more of a puzzler and that much more of a shame.
