Hi Mike 🤔 great video as always thanks for sharing this video update 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Mike, great video again learn so muth on your Chanel,
Thank you,
Hans van Leersum.
You're welcome Hans!
Did you rattle gun the flywheel bolts or torque them? If so how did you stop the engine turning over.
Also any tips on stubborn flywheel off?
Always torque the bolts down!
You can cut a bit of angle iron down and jamb it between the flywheel teeth and housing to lock it
To remove the flywheel, screw in 2 x long bolts opposite each other with large spreader washers on and pry out the flywheel
thankyou!! @@BritannicaRestorations
Very clean under there, looks almost unused?
Florida vehicle
Hi Mike, Do you calibrate your own torque wrench ? . If so, A good idea for a vid if you get time. Atb
I check them against a digital torque gauge
Hi, is this seal the same on the 200tdi engine
no
That hair stylist let you down today. At least the makeup looked good!
lol!
Did you put a new gasket on ? Before you replaced the seal
yes and used Hylosil 100 on both sides
Hi Mike, I like to ask you about a Heavy Duty Clutch kit, that BEARMACH offers for Discos/Defenders 300TDI (STC8358HD), it costs more than twice a standard BEARMACH kit (STC8358BM), what do you think about heavy duty's ? Thanks
STC8358HD = Made in the UK
STC8358BM = made in China
I usually use Valeo STC8358G - made in Turkey
Help Me? disassembly flexplate Land rover discovery 1 automatic
What do you want to know?
@@BritannicaRestorations Thank you for answering so quickly.
I would like to know how to disassemble and then reassemble the automatic Land Rover Discovery 1 FlexPlate, and to know where I can purchase the necessary parts to replace it.
You need to separate the engine form the transmission - big job
This site has a lot of workshop manuals for Land Rover
