I would get rid of that huge water heater and get a instant on demand water heater and use that space for a closet for people to hang their clothes in.
I've yet to see an instant on you could shower under.

Tankless water heater is the only way to go for these style of homes. Not being any kind of way, just think maybe y'all should look into that. 👍👍
@@keithgraham9547 Actually you could use Solar, if it was in a location that you couldn't receive utilities.
@@keithgraham9547 they had a gas stove, so there is already a gas hook up at each cabin.

I really like the entire cabin home. Its very nice and cozy. I love the restroom look the open ceiling. But, the Only thing I would change is the toilet in a small separate-next to the inside of the restroom with a small window to air out and a door to keep it closed. It is a cute cabin...i love cabin homes.

My dream is to live in a 1500 - 2000 sq ft one story log home with a wood furnace and solar panels on a nice plot of land. Not too far from people and not too close.

14x35 or so with 4-6ft of that being a porch would be big enough to put a livable full interior into. Like the look of that interior though, that's nice.

If only this had been a reachable goal but I never made enough money and my late husband and I tried voluminous times to just fin a cabin to no avail. It's a wonderful dream but just that...a dream. This size and style would have been perfect except I would have liked a small frig, and two burner stove of some type so you could cook a little

It forces the guests staying here to pay for food service in addition.
I've drawn up my cabin/house 30'X50' roof without dormers or Tennessee cuts true stone(granite) chimney and fireplace stone veneer bottom section basement/carport staircase to living quarters 3 bedroom 2 bath living room dining room kitchen pantry/laundry room den concrete block stone an spruce logs cedar shake shingles well septic tank solar wind and hydroelectric power off grid

Hi Elvie, How much would the 14x24 cost total if your team and a contractor did all the work in Bullhead City, Arizona. The only different is inside I would like the bathroom closed off at the top inside, I would like foam on the roof, and I’ll put it on a slab. Thanks Elvie.

Hey Ray, the outer walls of the cabin are 7'6" and not suitable as shown for a loft. We could certainly increase the log wall height and/or add a shed dormer to make a loft for storage, but the overall footprint of this cabin is too small to allow for a legal stairway to increase living space.

Nice one bedroom cabins. They could even be built over a basement for an in-law staying with you for a short time. You could then have a washer and dryer, along with a bathroom. A small kitchenette with the bedroom or many different scenarios as could be utilized as I was watching. Thank you again.

If the bathroom is open at the top, why does it need an exhaust fan. Where's it blowing the exhaust? Into the rest of the cabin? The smell is already going to get there because of the open wall. The fan is just blowing it in there faster.
What is a 'hot' water heater? You don't have to heat hot water.
does the porch count in the sq.ft. ??
Hello Ray, the porch size does not count in the square footage of the home, but we do provide that information for each home
I would have put a sleeping loft above the bathroom to free up living space and a small kitchen when you walk in
On the small cabins the headroom is not adequate and is barely tall enough for a sleeping area. Plus you have to have a ladder or stairway which takes away room. For a loft we recommend larger dimensions, taller walls and taller peak to make it worth the extra cost of the loft.

To get an accurate cost you would have to contact the staff at the Meadowlark Log Homes office. Cabins that size from beginning to end all costs included are probably from 40,000 to 80,000 depending how you finish them out.

Needs kitchen. How much as is without land. I’ve been looking for almost three years now for something like this with land. I have $50k. Nothing avail anywhere in America all the little cabins are ove 100k with even 1/4 acre. I don’t want a park or monthly lot fee. Anyone know of a realtor who specializes in small cabins anywhere in America?

I don't understand the size. 14 x24. Why? 16x24 makes more sense. The ply wood is 8 feetx4 feet. Where did 14 ft come from?
The size was what the customer requested. We can build whatever size you desire.
