“Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner’s daughter is speaking out after swift backlash resulting from the announcement of her father’s divorce from Theresa Nist. On April 12, Turner and Theresa Nist announced their split, news that was met with disappointment from Bachelor Nation. The reality star’s daughter, Angie is now calling out “rage” and “cruelty” aimed at the couple. “What has been disheartening is the level of rage and cruelty that our family has been met with. My Dad and Theresa are kind, good people that made this decision for them, no one else. I kindly urge everyone to remember that behind every story, there are real people with real feelings,” Angie wrote in an Instagram post.

Well said angie! People need to live their own lives and leave other people to live their own lives. This doesn't affect my life any and it shouldn't affect anybody else. I'm sure this was one of the most difficult decisions they've ever made and very very hard to make. It doesn't mean they don't love each other. It just means they love their families and I totally understand that. The Debbie downers are just that, and that's what they live for, kind of sad isn't it.
