    It never fails for you pouring on something on the canvas. Your canvas always turns out looking so cool. The Tumbler is beautiful and your writing turned out real professional looking.
    When I resin a vase I will keep going back at least every 15 minutes and scrape the bottom of the rim with a stick until it has completely stopped dripping. Then I have nothing to scrape off or sand down. They always turn out real smooth and nice. Of course I have a lot more time than you probably.
    That’s just a hint for those who may have the time.tfs😍

    Oh man, I'd be so psyched if someone made me a gift like that! She's gonna love it! I especially loved how the chrome kinda showed through the paint. Very cool! I wonder about using a really rough nail file or sandpaper over the edge after trimming with a knife? Would it make it a little more perfected?

    @hopestambaugh Před 4 lety +2

    I have tried to do this but my paint ends up not going all the way down the tumbler. I end up with long drips and empty space. I love how yours came out!! So BEAUTIFUL! I need some of these paints and Stone Coat resin!!

    I'm glad you posted this. Could you use some painter's tape around the bottom edge so that you don't have to cut off the dried drips? I want to get a tumbler turner but it's just extra money and more crap in my house lol.

    Both came out so pretty! Does heat from the stainless cup have any effect on the paint, such as peeling? I know with resin it should be sealed really well, but just curious. Also, I have found that dollar store nail buffers, the kind with 4 sides, work great on smoothing out rough edges, without scratching a lot, for the drips. Or tape the edge a bit. Love watching you experiment!

  • @Angie_978

  • @heathersmith4774
    @heathersmith4774 Před 4 lety +2

    Question could you do the resin like you did and then could you take glitter and apply it when it’s at it’s tacky stage so it wouldn’t run off? Once it’s dry, would you go back over it with the resin so it wouldn’t be scratchy? Just an idea. Another idea, how about taping off a design then pour resin or a spray glue, then put glitter on the sticky areas let dry then put resin over top of it to seal it? Example for the sticky area, strips, candy cane strips, and or lines going all different directions. Sorry this is long but you just unleashed my creative juices. Lol

    My husband went to a convention in Oct and brought home so many reusable water bottles and tumblers. I poured over them and then resined them. Someone tried to steal my son's at school. I put some Marvel stickers on it before the resin. So he's not allowed to take that one to school anymore.
