I have to say I would have been happy with any of the final three groups of two winning, each had their own journey and reason s it was very hard for them in places, but these two ladies define what friendship is what it means and why it matters, just very real.I wish them all luck , Ladi is a very calm kind man, with a very grounded hard working daughter.perhaps my biggest wish though that there's a baby on the horizon for our Scottish friends that would be very special .

I am so glad they won, was rooting for them from Day 1
There's a saying that the best things come in small packages and in Tricia's case that was especially true because Cathie isn't exactly the largest person but she's a thoroughly good friend for her and as Tricia herself described her a massive support.
What I find so remarkable is how Cathie manages to remain so calm and so positive.
But Congratulations to both for having won the race across Canada.

A very well done to both Cathy and Tricia for just sticking at it, for having the courage to take the chances that they did and especially Tricia with her deteriorating eyesight it obviously must have made things that little bit more awkward but her strength of spirit shone through and what a super friend she has in Cathy.

Also well done to Mobeen & Zainab for coming so close and being worthy runners-up.
Last but not least Father and daughter team of Ladi & Monique showed fantastic endeavour and spirit throughout the race and well deserved a lot credit.
A shame about Kevin & Claudia having to quit.
