ചെറിയ പ്രായത്തിൽ കേട്ട പേടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കഥ. പിന്നെ ഡൽഹിയിലെ മോഡേൺ സ്കൂളിൽ ജോലി കിട്ടി എത്തുമ്പോൾ കണ്ടു അവിടെ പുല്ലു വിരിച്ച സ്കൂളിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗത്തു സഞ്ജയ്‌ ചോപ്രയുടെയും ഗീത ചോപ്രയുടെയും പേരിൽ അവരുടെ ഓർമക്കായി രണ്ടു അശോക മരങ്ങൾ ഇന്നും ശാന്തമായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
പറക്കമുറ്റാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ മനസ്സിൽ മക്കൾക്ക് വയസ്സേറുകയില്ല................അവസാനത്തെ ആ വാചകം.... കരഞു പോയി
ഈ സംഭവത്തിന്റെ ഓരോ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും മനസിലൂടെ കടന്നു പോയി. അത്രയും വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വല്ലാത്ത കഥ ആയിരുന്നു ഇത്.
എനിക്ക് 10 വയസുള്ള സമയത്താണ് ഈ കേസ് നടക്കുന്നത് ഇന്നെന്ന പോലെ എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ ഈ സംഭവം മായാതെ നിൽക്കുന്നു ഇവന്മാരെ തൂക്കിലേറ്റുന്നതിൽ ശക്തമായി ഇടപെടുകയും പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ഒരു മഹത് വ്യക്തിയുണ്ട് ശ്രീ.ഇന്ദിരഗാന്ധി, അവതാരകൻ അത് പറയാൻ വിട്ടുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. എന്നാലും താങ്കളുടെ അവതരണം എനിക്ക് ഒത്തിരി ഇഷ്ടമാണ്
മൊറാർജി ദേശായ് ആയിരുന്നു അന്ന് പ്രധാന മന്ത്രി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഉണ്ട്. ..
