In a time when milk and cereal ruled breakfast, a fierce corporate battle begins over a revolutionary new pastry. A Pop-Tart comedy from Jerry Seinfeld. - Zábava
This entire movie is just Jerry making a "What's the deal with Pop Tarts?" joke.
Which is exactly why I'll be watching day 1.
Yeah, 1st non-animated movie where he's not playing himself. It's: himself but not himself. Sounds on brand hilarious. I'm in!!!
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
he literally has a long standing part of his stand up that is about this.
@@aya9afI hope he dates a high schooler when his character is almost 40 so his portrayal of himself is accurate
Bill Burr as JFK is enough to make me want to watch this movie
Might be the perfect casting
Yeah but you're probably a moron
I had the same thought. Killer.
I was on the fence about this then I saw Bill. I’m in.
That one part could've been the whole trailer and I was in
I don’t think anyone had “Bill Burr starring as JFK” on their 2024 bingo card😂
Jerry Seinfeld has made 3 movies. One about comedy, one about bees, and now one about pop-tarts. You gotta respect a man who only makes movies about what he cares about
When’s he going to make a Superman movie?
@@alexbrettw Oh yes Wyoming!
When is he going to make a movie about dating underage females?

Exactly. This is that unoriginal. Yikes.
(cues George Duke bassline)
Only Jerry Seinfeld would make his directorial debut with a movie about Pop Tarts. Can't wait.
Lmfao WTF guess I learned today he didn't direct The Bee Movie
Exactly 💯
(Read in Jerry's voice) "Americans love pop tarts, what's the deal with that? We have muffins. I've seen bakeries. I've never been in one. But they're there. But no, if it doesn't fit in our toaster we want nothing to do with it! We want the power. To feel we made it. Oh yes, we made it alright. We made it in about 30 seconds. And that's how long it takes to eat it as well."
Although I am very surprised that he didn't do it about breakfast cereal 😂
I'm a fan of Food that Built America and saw this episode, can't wait to see it.
What cast do you want? Jerry: "All of them!'
If you don't have the material, you better pack the cast!
@@Johnny-rj9on jERRY NEVER had material. Which was what Sienfield was all about. Nothing. quite the hit, eh/
@@tjh4115 Seinfeld had Larry David.
This looks terrible
@@Ryan-nm2si nah. its gonna be hilarious
Those Pop Tarts are gold Jerry, Gold
Bill Burr as JFK is a sign that I need to see this movie.
I'll watch that scene on YT, but the rest of it looks like shit.
probably the only funny part but meh, maybe we'll see
Jerry took a 3 minute comedy bit and turned it into a 2 hour movie.
The Lorne Michaels method
Or... and hear me out on this... what if this is a 2-hour Seinfeld episode?
i was just thinking those compies paid him a lot of money to make a 2 hour ad that you have to pay to see
That's not a good thing.
@@Scott__C Only if you have a brain. Otherwise you'll apparently be thrilled by such garbage and might even pay to watch it.
I’ve eaten about 1 and a half miles worth of Pop Tarts in my lifetime. Count me in for this movie!
This will be one of the comedies of all time.
Jerry seinfeld is truly obsessed with breakfast foods
Whuuuts the deal with Jerrry seeeinfeld. I mean cooome ooon

If they were eating the cereal IN the car while driving I’d totally watch that
Middlerrated comment.
you sound like the right audience for this movie
Watching this trailer makes me want to try making Pop-Tarts in the bath.
The 5 things Jerry Seinfeld loves in this world: bees, cars, coffee, pop tarts and nothing
The post-credits scene needs to show the Pop Tart Mascot descending to his cheerful demise at the bowl game.
Bill Burr with hairs is enough for me. 😂
lol, the hair caught me off guard too.
Where I know that voice from? It does not fit the voice. Oh, its Burr, with hair?! Thats why. :D
THANK YOU, Netflix! Fantastic, unwoke casting. Real actors playing the real people. Much appreciated. See you May 3!!
who are the real actors? Jerry? Gaffigan? Burr?
This looks ridiculously fun with a spectacular cast.
Looks like unfunny american schlock.
A little too caricature and campy for me, but I'm sure some people will enjoy it........just not my style.
you're not really a critical thinker are you?
which one is spectacular other than Jerry?
Of course Jerry Seinfeld would make a Pop Tarts movie. And I can't wait ❤
For a second, at the start, I wondered, "Wait, did Seinfeld actually try for a historically accurate movie about how Pop Tarts began?" Haha, probably not.
Only Jerry could make a movie about Pop-Tarts' origins feel like a historic event!
Netflix: "Jerry, how many famous people you want in this?"
Jerry: "Yes."
So many big names in a movie about my hometown. I love it AND can't wait ❤
@@staceysmith9487 Are the Poptarts tastier there?😄
@@SclountDraxxer they absolutely are! Especially if they're frosted 🤣🤣
"The Right Stuff, but about Pop Tarts." Sold.
Omg this is classic Jerry with a great cast. Lots of little Seinfeld Easter eggs I see already. Can't wait!
Jim Gaffigan without a beard is like a pop tart without the frosting
All the cast with their costumes and method acting, while Jerry is just being, Jerry. Timeless. Cant wait! 😊
Jerry Seinfeld's first directorial debut movie about Pop Tarts. Now that's a movie I've been waiting for, probably watching this for Seinfeld himself.
Unbelievable lineup ! Need to watch this. I mean, Jerry in this suit looking soo slick, absolutely priceless.
Can never have enough Seinfeld in my life.
1960s? Man the nostalgia is beautiful
Jerry Seinfeld is back!! I can't wait for this. I still watch Seinfeld every day on comedy Central
JERRY went through his Rolodex!!
He got all the people who said no to JLo.

Kellogg's and Post are both headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan.

"Curb your Enthusiasm" finale and a new film "written by Jerry Seinfeld" a few weeks apart?
What a perfect double feature that's gonna be!
So awesome, that both Larry and Jerry are still creating new comedy in 2024!

"comedy"
I'm glad people are starting to make documentaries again.
They should have a documentary on how much of an asshat Jerry Seinfeld is.
Right? I'm guessing 'The Founder' did way better than Netflix were expecting and 'Blackberry' was really good too.
This isn't a documentary
@@lostlambv2939 But it looks so realistic. How could any of this be fabricated or exaggerated for comedic effect in any way?

That’s gold Jerry, but seriously what a cast. So looking forward to this
McCarthy and shummer will ALWAYS be in movies about food
I heard they were paid in pop tarts
This looks to be probably the greatest guilty-pleasure movie ever devised.
Like SNL directed an episode of The Food That Built America - and I'm here for it! 😃
Exactly
schweaty balls for cereal
I love the beautiful color palette. It's visually very interesting like a comic book. Love the music. The cast looks amazing. Jim AND Jerry? Yes please!
More cereal? That's your third bowl today! You've had it for breakfast and lunch!
A movie about pop tarts, this is gonna be awesome!
Talk about an all star cast.
Jon Hamm and John Slattery being in the cast makes me think they're going to crossover with Mad Men for a scene or two. XD
A boatload of great actors and comedians here. Could be good, silly fun.
This cast is STACKED! When Jerry Seinfeld calls, you just answer "Yes!" And he's right, we need a colorful, dumb, silly comedy like this! 😂

Kellogs doing everything possible to increase their sales. We have not forgetten about the cereal for dinner commercial. WE ARE STILL ON STRIKE!

This looks like a good comedy. Melissa McCarthy reading product names 🤣
I'm still dying over what Hugh Grant said in response to why he agreed to do this movie!
Hugh: "I'm too old and fat and ugly to do romantic comedies."
🤣🤣🤣
Pop tarts aren’t romantic?
He's fat?
@shulmanator He isn't, but that's the thing about Hugh Grant. He's always hilariously way too hard on himself. The dude is 63 and looks great for his age!
So, it's like "The Right Stuff" but with cereal.
Got it.
I'm in.
we bringing comedy back with this one, THIS LOOKS MINDBLOWING.
It's rare for a movie with this many stars to actually be any good
Spoofy Pop-Tart movie staring just about every comedian currently at the top of their game? That's GOLD, Jerry! GOLD!
I have the distinct feeling that this will be a "too many cooks" type of movie.
Agree
yeah, it does look shite.
Movie studio’s officially ran out of movie ideas. That said I’m ready for the movie on rice 😂
It just looks like the comedy is too broad for my taste. If your movie-length comedy is more than just a series of bits, you've got to have semi-believable characters. It looks like you'd just spend the whole movie going, "Oh, look. There's Hugh Grant. There's Amy Schumer. There's Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Fred Armisten, Peter Dinklage, etc.
To the OP, ugh. You think so, "too many cooks"? By the looks of the trailer, it does look too busy. Blink and you're lost.
That means just a whole lot of nonsense, basically.
Shatner's show The Unexplained shows his wittiness without being dumb. Sometimes we even learn something.
But here, well.... I hope it won't be too silly...
So many subtle in-jokes I couldn't keep up in one viewing. Can't wait!
Seinfeld went from Bee movie to this, his passion projects are all over the place lol
The dude created one of the greatest sitcoms of all time, he basically has a free ride to whatever he wants for the rest of his life lol.
Bill Kennedy 😂😂😂 never knew I needed this
OMG! Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, Peter Dinklage, Cedric the Entertainer, and Hugh Grant! Finally something on Netflix that I can't wait to see!
The comedy we didn’t know we were hungry for🙌🏽
Looks fantastic should've been in the theater
Bro who knew a movie about the creation of pop tarts could look so cool and funny. Can't wait to check it out😮
I'll watch anything with Jerry Seinfeld in it. Even a period comedy piece about Pop Tarts....
Couldn't have any more notable actors or the credits would run longer than the movie. Brilliant idea
I love Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted trailer with every comedian I love! I can't wait to LMAO! 🤣
Jerry almost looking like "Jerry Seinfeld".
What I mean by that is he's grown his hair out! He's had it borderline buzzed cut for so long that his hair now is looking like the glory days of NBCThursdays!
He looks good!
Wow. The movie about cereal and Pop Tarts starring Jerry Seinfeld that I never knew I needed.
This feels like an early April Fool's Day joke.
Memories of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World --- 1963. Say Hallelujah.
Oh, how far comedy has fallen since that film.
Great that Netflix finally made an accurate historical documentary
I really hope that this move involves Gretchen Wiener's father. He did invent Toaster Strudel after all.
What a hellscape movies are nowadays. Remakes, reboots and 2 hour long commercials disguised as movies.
Typical for Seinfeld. I was 18 in the early 70s when "Transcendental Meditation" popped up. It was a scam then (NOBODY has to ever PAY for a "mantra") and it's a scam now. Same with that BS Scientology. Everything about Seinfeld stinks. He's just a clone/cheap copy of Gary Shandling.
Seriously this looks awful
Except he wrote this before getting permission from Kellogg so...maybe he's actually really passionate about cereal. Haven't you watched Seinfeld?
Jerry said Kelloggs didn't even know he was making it at first.
But seriously though what is with these consistently interesting food product biopics??? The founder was awesome, the Flamin Hot movie was awesome, now we have a Pop Tarts movie with this stacked cast!? This looks insanely good!
Movie producer: So which stars do you want for the movie?
Seinfeld: Yes
Jerry Seinfeld's "Unfrosted" part of a complete breakfast
Melissa McCarthy running… I’m there!! 🤣 🤣
And top notch cast!
The Kellogg Company and the Post Cereal Company were locked into a war over who would create the breakfast toaster pastry.
Kellogg's created "Pop Tarts," while Post created "Country Squares" (which Post has since sold off, and are now sold under the name of "Toast'ems").
