- This is a video of us sailing Altor of Down, a Moody 44, on the first leg of our 2020 adventure. Adventure Now! We leave Burnham on Crouch on the 27th of March 2020 and sail to Ramsgate, then to New Haven where we spent a night at anchor near the town beach. After that we sail to Chichester Harbour.

Newhaven looks much better from the water than the road. Given time I spend gazing at yachts from nearby Seaford, I probably coveted your boat as you passed! Looking forward to following your travels - we hope to buy a Moody ourselves and set sail soon!

You make top videos, your living a dream i had when the dam-panic hit ( yet i can not sail ) interesting seeing UK waters being navigated looks much harder than yank sailing channels in calmer waters. I am assuming u have been sailing most your live i see a 9 year old video of you on a small sail boat... Lock down learning to sail via youtube & virtual sailing boat 2020 ( in a mask ) want 2019 version ( no mask required to play ) LOL!

There is a 2020 version that doesn't require a mask, you know... 😉 Videos are a tricky thing when one wants to use them as a reliable source of learning or state of waters in a given area, bet the Yanks have their share of foul weather as much as we do, but pulling out a camera in those conditions can end up with someone or something overboard so I guess that is why the juicy bits are skipped while reporting.
Mark has been sailing all his life, but I am pretty new to this, but loving it from the day I was born! Dream come true!
