This is why whenever I played Hunter: The Vigil I was always a redeemer hunter. I always tried to help monsters before hunting them. Kind of like one of those volunteers you mentioned, except I actively tried to bring down the bad ones.
I imagined that's who I was during all this, except maybe you didn't even know. But I knew all along, and I just let you vent and tell me your story when you were ready.

If a friend suddenly came up to me like this, I'd just hug her as soon as she admits to being a vampire. Like what, you think I'd stop caring about a friend just because I learned something new about her?
