Because this model wears so high on the wrist - it's almost too easy to bang this watch against surfaces, like doors etc, it's size is a disadvantage if you're used to wearing a square G, I can almost guarantee you'll repeatedly accidentally whack this watch as you go around a normal/busy day. I like this model, it's very easy to read time. One major flaw is the alarm beeper volume. It's practically useless. Even with the watch off wrist the beeper doesn't sound very loud. I've never heard the beeper on the GPW2000, but am interested to know if it's the same? Will GHF be doing GPW1000 disassembly?
Having trouble finding the information, is there a battery level indicator on the GPW-1000 models? Or am I just supposed to wait until it goes into some sort of low energy level mode? Not seeing anything about it without completely rereading the instructions. If you can help, Thanks in advance!

Without reading all the instructions now / at this time, why would the second hand stop moving between 1 & 2 positions? Does it indicate that the battery is low? The time hands are correct otherwise.

I have a problem with my GPW1000-1B.. everytime i will do manual time calibration thru "TIME" or "T+P". The second hand will just directly point to "NO" and back to timekeeping mode, without doing any searching. Any tips on how to solve this problem? thank you.
It would be nice if Casio had also upgraded their quartz technology for more accurate time keeping without gps and wavecepter. Got a Swiss cosc watch for $300 that doesn't loose or gain a second of time for months.
@@dnationapocalypse Yea but the thing is that updating consumes power and sometimes there might not be a good signal. GPS and wavecepter are nice features but Casio should also upgrade their quartz technology. I've got a rangeman that's already gained a second after updating 3 days ago.
@@GTRaZoR22 I love my full metal G shock with resin strap. Its my everyday wear and most comfortable but my second favorite is my GST blacked out G shock multi band solar resin strap also. They made the case a little slimmer and smaller in diameter. I added a black buckle so now its fully stealth

Nah man, even back then. G-Shock already costs 100usd allcthe way to 1000usd. Its not new. They actually improve their quality, design, & functions yet still charge us the same price. Which is better than ever before.

I'll give it a shot. The function is simple, the way to set them up is the most complicated part.

GPW1000 has no hourly chime.

Maybe it was pointing to something else but the gear was misaligned(?)

Both of my G shocks are multi band and the times are updated automatically every morning, so i never lose time 😬
