Is it me or someone else may have encountered the same problem while working on papers, like whenever I'm reading too much of the related articles I tend to lose my trials even more, instead I would be more inclined to lean towards their structures, in the sense that many published articles are very logically persuasive and excellent elaborated. I hope you could understand me and offer me some suggestions, thank you! btw, it really is a great guidance video.

On your comp project, read all your sources first, take notes, put them all away, and then right an outline for an essay based on your opinions and conclusions. That way, the writing will have your structure and the sources will be only for support of your conclusions.

Corrin--for the synthesis essay, your teacher could mean either a literature review or argument synthesis. I would have to see the assignment instructions. But a literature review is often called a synthesis.
