The 36-hour drive quickly turned into almost 40, due to an impending snowstorm and reroute through Denver to snag snowboarding boots at the Burton Flagship store.
I spent my nights between Walmart parking lots and I-80 rest stops, maximizing my time on the road to make it to UT in time to meet my sister and her friends for their annual ski/ride trip.
I will be spending the next month in the SLC area, riding at Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird, and Snowbasin. I typically rest on the weekends or venture into the backcountry to avoid the traffic and crowds that ruin the resort experience.
At the end of the month, I will be meeting up with family friends in Tahoe where I'll be riding Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows. After a few weeks, I'll make my way back through SLC. I have tentative plans to meet college buddies in Jackson Hole, WY, and Telluride, CO - But will ultimately make my way back to CO to meet my parents at the end of March!

I'm from just outside of Toledo and know the exact Walmart you stayed at. I'm curious as to how many miles you've put on your Crosstrek?
Odometer is at 167k & this trip so far is 3050!
