Ingredents for Authentic Lebanese Manakish With A baker Dough
1/2 cup of warm water
125 ml
1/2 cup of warm milk
125 ml
2 tbsp olive oil
16 grams
1 tsp of sugar
4 gr
3/4 tbsp. instant dry yeast
3 cups of all purpose flour
390 grams
1 tsp of salt
6 grams
300 gram akawi cheese
1/2 كوب ماء دافئ
125 مل
1/2 كوب حليب دافئ
125 مل
ملعقتين طعام زيت زيتون
16 غرام
1 ملعقة صغيرة سكر
4 غرام
3/4 ملعقة طعام خميرة جافة فورية
3 أكواب طحين لجميع الأغراض
390 جرام
1 ملعقة صغيرة ملح
6 جرام
300 جرام جبنة عكاوي

I have searched and tried a few different recipes for manakish and I couldn’t find the right dough. This dough came out amazing. This is my new go to recipe. Even if you want to make it crispy it still remains soft and fluffy on the inside! Jazakallah khair

hi Chef Ahmad, another great video. Keep them coming. In this video you said to put the tray with the Manakish 5 min from bottom and 3min from top. Do you mean first put the tray at the bottom of the oven for 5 min and then move it to the top for another 3 min ? or do you mean either bottom of the oven for 5min or top of the oven for 3min ? thanks in advance for clarifying
