  • Hey guys!
This video is a review of the Netflix sitcom series Superstore.
I have found the propaganda in this sitcom very distasteful, something that killed the comedy in this one.
From the cast to the delivery, the woke liberal propaganda has practically ruined the mood of this show.
Please watch the full video to know more details.

The show is shit. Lets be honest, they went full woke and I left the series midway.

To be fair. I quite liked the first 4 seasons. It was woke sure but the jokes were funny and partially edgy. Nice shakeup really. But eventually during the end of season 5 it turned full on woke feminist woke wet dream and season 6 was just unwatchable.
Jonah turned into a complete omega male whilst amy dumps him to further her own career but the omega he is he ofc waits for her to return if she fails. Wtf. This is not a 50/50 relationship or women equal to men, this is feminazi shit. Terrible.

I watched the whole series in a go. I had an expectation of how it'd go. It could have been a good series, but then it turned into this weird left propaganda freak show.

      @@particularlyindian Isn't it funny though?
I think it started airing in 2015 just when the whole woke 3rd wave feminist stuff in the US started to get some sort of traction.
Over the seasons the lecturing and belittling of men just got increasingly worse.
As mentioned season 6 I quit because it made no sense.
What rational human being with any form of selfrespect would do what Jonah did with Amy?
I literally asked myself: "Is this really what those idiotic leftist women think?"
She already has a child. That is fair I would say. Especially at a certain age when you are not married as a man, you slip into the age group where there is a high likelihood of divorced or separated single mothers.
Then, whilst she has a child, she cannot keep it in her pants and gets impregnated by her exhusband.
Through all of that Jonah doesn't care and loves her anyway. He is there for the birth and even gives the ex couple space together.
He then supports her nonstop and always (which is sorta really stupid as if every white man always wants a cause to fight for) focuses and stands up for people's rights.
Amy doesn't tell him that she gets a better job offer and keeps secrets from him nonstop until they must come out. She also frequently lies.
And then she leaves him cause she is scared of commitment after many years.
He gives it 100% dare I say 150%, but ofc she needs space to further her own interests without Jonah and yet he waits for her. What the fuck.
As if men have treated women like that and expected this to be a thing. So over the top and stupid. Just yea. Really a shame cause I was interested to see where the story itself goes.
Great analysis on your part btw.

@@DonnieDarko2584 Thank you for that detailed review. These were my thoughts as well when I was making the video...
If a man does the things Jonah does, he needs a lot of therapy to become a healthy human being. No one wants to be in his position without having debilitating psychological issues....
About feminists, I hope this is not what they think about men. But well, for them, men are evil and bad, maybe this is the type of a man they can tolerate... I have gasped at videos where women say, we don't need men for anything. Maybe these women do need men as drag alongs. Who knows....
It was cringe, through and through. And everywhere it had nice reviews. That's when I decided I have to make this video!

I quite liked the show up until season 6.
I don't even mind some of the woke crap as long as they don't beat you over the head with it. And it was weird because they did actually poke fun at some of the more extreme versions of 'wokeness' in the early seasons. Like when Amy tells off a co worker for putting on a Mexican accent to sell salsa and then starts doing exactly the same thing herself.
Season 6 just got really cringey though especially with all the racial stuff I think in episode 4.

@@andrewjoyner4133 Pretty much my pov as well. I would add the weird omega-male cuckolding thing between Amy and Jonah in season 6.

The show needed a Ron Swanson.

Tbh, I hadn't heard of this show, till I saw this review. Now that I know of it...its annoying to be aware that another WOKE show exists.

Exactly. Propaganda kills creativity... It's sad to see comedy censored and ruined like this

It's the opposite of "woke" tho. The show CONSTANTLY makes fun of woke discourse and practices and shows how they led to weird outcomes or nothing at all. The reviewer didn't get that just bringing up those topics to make fun of them in an honest and wholesome way is not to promote them.

I used to love this show, then they made Glen look like a bigger tool they originally depicted him as (incompetant)

I'm commenting from this anonymous account because my main channel has 200k+ subs and I don't want it to be flagged for watching stuff like this, even though I completely agree with everything you're saying.
i rarely watch superstore, but it's usually on before programs I do want to watch, so I usually end up watching the last 10 mins of a few episodes. but jesus christ the amount of virtue signaling and self righteous smugness that this show emits is so prevalent, especially in those later seasons. not to mention the show is literally just a derivation of Brooklyn 99, i mean the main couple literally share a name and they are the same bi-racial, goofy white guy/ strong Latina woman. it's just straight up formulaic, taking no risks to offend anyone on the left wing.
loved your review and it's so thorough that it sounds like a univerity paper, great stuff!

There’s definitely a lefty influence here and it can be too on the nose sometimes, but I think the jokes are usually clever and the cast plays off each other so well. Season 1s a little cringe sometimes, and I think the best seasons are 2-4, but it’s def one of my favorite comedies. Think it’s a little underrated personally

What a crapy review. Great show, super fun. Really good humor about corporate and retail. Your snobby view is definitely personal something.
