Falling Animals sounds so good! It's not yet available here in the states so I may need to hit up a UK online store. Wonderful video - I really enjoyed all your reviews. Thanks!

Tender is the flesh was one of the most horrifying books I read and they were marketing it as "dystopian" instead of horror.I wouldn't have picked it up if I had known.

I have to be honest...Tender is the Flesh scares me!
I need to re-read Girl, Woman, Other and I think I might do it on audio. I agree that the "Other" is problematic now, but maybe it wasn't considered as such when the book was published?
I absolutely LOVED the Elderly Lady books! The second book is good as well, but a little different. The first half is like the first book, and then there is a novella that is more "recent" about her, if that makes sense.

Yeah, Tender is the Flesh is a lot!!!
GWO was only published in 2019 so not that long ago but yes maybe you're right, a lot can change in five years.
Ah, it's good to hear you've read the other Elderly Lady book! I'll have to keep an eye out for it 😊

@@jenniferlovesbooks GWO was only published in 2019? It seems like I read it much earlier than that! Of course, time has no meaning since the pandemic, so it isn't surprising that I have no clue when I read it!
