I remember being 19 in 99 and hearing this at the clubs. Loved it instantly.
Lol I was 8 in 1999, and my sister who was 18 at the time had a house party when my parents were away at the time and I remember running about the house dancing to this song. She was supposed to quietly babysit me and my younger siblings but had a party instead... 😂 she got in SO much shite with my parents because the house was wrecked. I remember it being really fun though lol. The only bad thing was drunken couples trying to come into me and my little brothers bedroom at like 3am to find a bed and I was like "yooo, we're sleeping here." My little brother was crying his balls off because he was scared 😂 tbf, he was only 5 at the time. Don't think he remembers that anymore but I make sure to bring it up every birthday/Christmas when we're having a drink haha.

I'm in South Africa and we mostly grew up with deep house music. This type of music was being laughed at by most Africans. We'd say it's white music. So back then, white people had their own vibe which was this type of music, and us blacks, we were purely on deep house music. But yo, I'm black and I always loved this type of music, lol. South Africa was segregated then, even after we got our freedom.
This brings up so many memories. I was 16 years old and spent a night with a beautiful girl. :)
