- Flirtatious barista Victoria (Natasha Bure) is bored with her social butterfly lifestyle and longs for real love. When handsome Jason (Ben Elliott) walks into her coffee shop, she turns on the charm. But he doesn’t respond to her flirting like men usually do. When she discovers that he runs a ministry that builds affordable housing for families in need, she decides to volunteer. So what if it’s faith-based organization? As far as she’s concerned, pretending to be a “church person” isn’t any different than pretending to like sports or a guy’s friends if it gets her what she wants.

I love this movie and I learnt a lot. I am in the position Victoria is even though I am a christian. I met some friends some weeks ago and because I didn't have any friends and going through depression I lied to like things they liked so they will like me and I just realized that lying isn't the best option and I shouldn't change who I am to please them, if they don't like me for who I am then they aren't real friends, I even tried to hide the fact that I was a christian. I am asking God for me and help to embrace my identity in him.
I don't really leave comment on a CZcams video but, I just wanna say that this movie is worth watching! The story is great! I love the plot twist. As a christian myself, I would really appreciate movies like this. 10/10 ⭐
I have only just found this movie . Well , i do have to say it's a great movie . It started of a bit weird , but it soon turned good . We do need more movies like this , as the story is so heart warming in this day and age . Brilliant to watch .

12mins in, and this pastor character is already showing lack of spiritual discipline. Losing his composure because a lady walked in, wearing a red lipstick. Its a shame what we deem "Faith-based" these days.

Overall cute movie this is the second movie I watched with religion in it. My story is complicated I was raised strict Catholic but it's time for me to talk about this stuff sometimes I think it's good to talk about it and hear different stories I grew up in that atmosphere and it's was hard to know what was right what was wrong everything was always very structured and very strict I started looking onto my own path and it got to the point where I stopped watching one of my favorite shows because I was scared I was evil my favorite show is charmed the original and because I lost myself because of religion I do not belong to a Catholic religion anymore and being more spiritual and finding God on my own terms i tried to separate my feelings and not feel so guilty I try to believe that God loves me even if I'm not in a religion God loves me that I'm different God loves me even I don't wait to have sex before marriage and he loves me not matter what I do I don't really go to church anymore I don't do communion I'm trying to accept being more spiritual and not feel guilty for liking what I like, like magic. I do like this movie I just found it hard because you know I feel like regardless if your Christian or not someone should love you no matter what. And they should love you for who you are. Rachel and Jason they had issues but he didn't like her because she was different and herself. Rachel sounds like she loved him even though there was struggles. I think he could have loved her but he didn't love because she was different. It was hard for me to believe if he liked Victoria only liked her because of her new faith or because he truly cares about her . I feel like you should love someone despite the differences. And not because because they have the same religion. I feel like Catholic religions make you feel guilty I feel like it should make you feel accepted and wanted and with religion I felt like I was like i betrayed God if you can't love the same sex you have to wait before marriage to be with somebody. from what I learned you can love somebody and not be married to them it's a process that's in a day-to-day thing but what I'm learning that God is not just Catholic I think God is anything you want him to be for you. famous quote from the show and character Jen from the show Dawson's Creek just doesn't matter if there is a god or not the important thing is to believe in something
