Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay), exiled from the palace, takes Sultan İbrahim to boxwood. There they face each other. However, Sultan İbrahim (Tugay Mercan) has no intention of returning from his decision.
Kösem Sultan wants to teach Sultan İbrahim a lesson. Together with the Grand Vizier Kemankeş Pasha (Ismail Demirci), they decide to provoke the Janissaries. Learning this, Turhan Sultan (Hande Doğandemir) wants to make a big difference between mother and son. He steals Kösem Sultan's seal and sends orders to the janissary on behalf of Kösem Sultan.
Kemankeş Pasha, who has been exposed, is sentenced to death by Sultan İbrahim. Kösem Sultan kidnaps Kemankeş and hides it. Learning about Kemankeş's hiding place, Turhan Sultan tells Sultan İbrahim where he is in return for an agreement.
Captured Kemankeş Pasha is executed in front of Kösem Sultan. Kösem Sultan learns that it was Turhan Sultan who did all this.
Magnificent Century: Kosem is about Kosem Sultan married to the "State-i Aliyya", when her six-year-old son ascended to the throne, having the position of "Regent of the Sultanate", as well as the power gained by defeating all her enemies and becoming a sultan who brought the world to her knees with her regency. The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. With his determination and might, Murad will give the Ottoman Empire its strongest period after Suleiman the Magnificent. The defeats of the state inside and outside will close the era.

I read kosem history, actual she wanted to retire but many of the scholars et all wants her to rule than turan (lack of experience and too young) that is why kosem was again forced to rule again

Honestly at this point if I were Kosem I would just retire build my own palace ( better than the harem lol) have tons of servants and screw the rules and spend my rest of my life with whoever I wanted and acting as an advisor to the next generation of Sultanas if they wanted my help , Kosem era was over

you guys think back then it was ok for old widow to marry again , eventhought it ok for muslim woman to remarry their was stigma in society they wanted the widows to remain single as sign of faithfullness to thier late husband
I think Ottomans had a rule or something that ruling Valide Sultans couldn't get married. But she could retire after Ibrahim was executed. Because then, technically, Turhan would be the official Valide Sultan.

I would really love to see Kosem retire and flee with Kemankes and live a rich and happy life, however she didn't want to lose the power of ruling. Too much power can blind a person. Kosem got corrupted like everyone else did when they had power
I am sooo in love with them i just hope they end up together and live a happy life together but sad kosem want to stay in power 😢 rest in peace kosem and kaman kash ( im not sure if he is real though)

The writers in the series did the most injustice to Handan and Ayse.
They blackened the names of Safiye,Ahmed,Osman,Mahfiruze,Murad,Kosem,Turhan,Gevherhan,Atike,Kemankes,Dervis and others with fake and pointless drama.
Really shameful.

Where's the never ending and pure love of Ahmed and kosem that started years ago!!! How can she betray Ahmed? Her first love? Her everything? Even if he's not with her, she should not forget him! Ahmed is dead. Kosem can't even remarry. She deserves some love in some kind of way. Besides they originally didn't like each other. Their friendship grew into this
