In it's own way, that "I'M HAPPY!" is almost as moving as the original line. xD And of course, this was all fantastically sung, too.
Because you didn't do Habanera from Carmen, I did it for you:
"Love the sneaky bird
Nobody can clean it
And it's unused
If you refuse."
What does salt mean it?
You have to catch the sneaky bird before you can clean it, so you'd have to out-sneak the bird. And it is indeed unused if you refuse. It makes perfect sense to me.
I always thought 'If you can sing well, you can sing anything' was a myth, but Malinda's making me question that.

Okay, I have something to deconstruct! While translating The Flower Duet, she belted out the line “Pink rose!” Now, I should point out that The Flower Duet was written in French! The French word “rose” translates into English as “pink” AND as “rose”, but there is only one use of the word “rose” in the original line! So at some point while Malinda was working her magic, Google Translate took the one and only instance of “rose”, doubled it, read it as “pink rose”, and removed everything else in the line! Ask me why I’m confident that there will never be a robot uprising! lol
