I didn't expect Coleman Hawkins name to be associated with Tech. He was a really solid player for Illinois and has a nice 3 ball for a big guy. He's a pretty good shot blocker too. Interesting portal update there and I'm here for all of it.
Maybe Shannon has been singing TTU's praises a bit.

Gentlemen, seating capacity will NOT increase with the south endzone expansion.. but it sure looks like off the record they’re building out a lot of “standing room” under those arches that could be used during those “special games” we all love.

So is Level saying that Tech would only want 1 of the 3 guys being talked about or is he just being his usual cautious self by saying that Tech might get only one of the 3 if they're lucky? Toppin, with some good connections to Tech, might be back in play? That's great. Hawkins interests me as well. If he is seriously looking at Tech, one would have to figure that he would ask Shannon about being at Tech right? And going by what Level has said in the past about Shannon expressing how lucky he felt being at Tech, one might think the door for Hawkins could open. Of course, the money would have to be right, but hey, this might be why they didn't try to outbid UW for Osabor. If both Toppin and Hawkins are willing, Tech would have to go for both wouldn't they?

College football is looking more and more like a mini-pro operations. Going to "share" all this money, got to have some rules to go with it.

Im glad Tech wont have to see Missi in the future. His name always reminded me of Messi ( greatest of all time ). I would take Messi over Ronaldo every time. That doesn't mean that Ronaldo is not also one of if not arguably the best also to ever do it.

Wooo the Timberwolves put it on the Nuggets didnt they? To the tune of a 45 point wallop. Unlucky timing by Jarrett Culver. If he was on this team right now I think he would still be playing in the NBA. I think the Timberwolves thought they got a Edwards when they drafted Culver. Ill just leave it at that. I am sticking to my 6uns and saying a somewhat big underdog in the odds Timberwolves makes it to the finals. Putting money where my mouth is this time I am not. It has been nice lounging on the beach chair sipping nice ice cold lemon water with an umbrella watching games with out blowing a gasket 😆 I am itching to get back in the game...
All that pot boiling talk is making my mouth salivate at the thought of the idea of a crawfish/seafood boil. One of the best things in life I have come across 😋 Crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn. All boiled in a pot of heavily seasoned water. Wooo Im getting hungry. Them cats over there in Louisiana sure know how to operate a kitchen. The youtuber Stalekracker is one of my favorite shows to watch. Watch out it will make you extremely hungry. Nice snag from Houston if he is as good as a player as advertised. Im glad we didnt hire Dana Holgorsen as our head coach. Could not be more pleased with Joey McGuire 👆I know Willie Fritz is the new Houston coach. What an incredible job he did at Tulane. The Green Wave has always been an interesting mascot to me 😆.

Im glad the NCAA is shrinking the number of players a football roster can hold. Teams use hoarding of players as a weapon. I think this will help level the playing field and produce a better product for the consumers. More teams will now have access to talent creating a more competitive league. No one wants to see Alabama win 10 national championships in a row. It is looking like Georgia might start to do the same. With all these changes that might not come to fruition. On the flip side if Tech wins 10 National Championships in a row Im all for it 😆🤣.
I think we could all list loads of walk ons that have gone on to play at the higher level. The NCAA is going to have to figure this one out and not have teams abuse this " loop hole " moving forward with the new rules.
I wish Nebraska was still in the B12. I loved playing them in football. What a fan base they have.
1:39 Speaking of rhyme masters. Chris cover your ears for this one 😆. Woo it has begun. My daughter yesterday asked me if I knew Nelly the rapper 😆. She was deciding on which walk up song to use for herself at her softball games. Her friend chose " batter up " by Nelly. I asked my daughter if she knew " Country Grammar " by Nelly and she began singing it 😆🤣. I said here we go 😆. Country Grammar, "Go DJ" by lil Wayne, and “Wanna be baller” by lil Troy I remember where the first few rap songs that got me interested in the genre. As soon as those three songs hit my earbuds I said woo these guys are talented lyrically and the beats are amazing. Knowing what little that I know now as an older person, I wish the rappers would use their platform to better guide the youth. I think it is gravitating towards that.
T.i and Young Jeezy were my favorite. Their overall perspective was to help raise up as many people as they could. Now you have to use a screening device to take the good messages and dispose of the bad ones 😆. I would listen to " Skys The Limit " by Jeezy and " Motivation " by T.i before games. My taste in music ranges from opera, piano ( my favorite ), to rap and everything in between. The only genre I cannot stomach is heavy metal.
*The Spaniards ( fellow soccer teammates ) always wanted to know which and what kind of American music I was listening to 😆. They would always ask for me to share the headphones 🤣 Oblige I did
My daughter ultimately settled for Fort Minor " Remember The Name " as her walk up song. Again went 2/2 at the plate and scored 2 runs against pitching ( this is her first year ). Watch out Tech softball, gotta young hooper making her way up the ranks 👆Could not be more proud ☺

The House case is very real. Anybody that thinks this is good for student athletes doesn’t understand the rule of unintended consequences. In the future the 85 scholarships is going to be INTENSE. If you don’t produce you’re cut. Miss practice, you’re cut. Get in trouble, you’re cut. Too much at stake. But this is what the lawyers/players wanted.
Sound a lot like the real world so I don't understand how it can be construed as some great tragedy, but that's just me. Thanks for watching! #GunsUp

I have to wonder if blue blood schools have 40 less players they are going to end up landing at schools like Tech and Big 12. Thus actually improve rosters across the entire landscape. NFL teams are fairly even in talent due to the size of rosters. Then it comes to coaching. Be fascinating to see if this actually “levels up” the Big 12 and ACC. Players we have in our “lower 40” would then be in Power 5 programs. I do wonder if there would still be a “walk on” component like the practice squad for NFL teams however.
Great point. Also expect a lot of players to get cut if they don’t produce. Sad really.
I do think this could be a likely possibility, just like the impact of roster limits long ago that stopped the UTs of the world from hoarding talent in excess of what could be utilized. We'll see. Thanks for watching! #GunsUp
