函館市電前面展望 ５系統函館どつく前→函館駅前 ＜Cabview Japanrail Hakodate City tram＞

This is a tram cab view. The theme is the same place as my last upload • 函館・路面電車が走る街　＜Hakodate,... , the municipal tram in Hakodate. I took the train in the opposite direction from the last video, and in this video, I ran from Hakodate Dock to Hakodate Station.
Hakodate was the only area in Hokkaido that was developed before the 1870s, when the Edo Shogunate ruled the country, and it developed as a port city, forming a unique culture and landscape. Although much of the traditional scenery has been lost in the last 30 years or so, there is still a different scenery from Tokyo.
The train runs slowly through this city.
Some of the names of the stops use the word "MAE". This means "front", and if it's EKI-MAE, it means "in front of the station" (EKI means station). "DOCK-MAE" means "in front of the dock," and "SHIYAKUSHO-MAE" means "in front of City Hall" (SHIYAKUSYO = City Hall).
"HAKODATE EKI-NAE" means "in front of Hakodate Station," and Hakodate Station is a JR station.
As for the footage from Hakodate Ekimae stop onwards, I plan to upload it as part 2.

にも十字街→函館どつく前間の前面展望を挿入していますが、今回は逆方向で、乗車している車両も異なります。
函館の街のもっとも函館らしさを感じられる十字街付近の風景もずいぶん変わりました。それでも、まだ木造の洋館風の建物があちこちに残っているのは、とても力的です。2024年5月撮影
