That carbon fibre brace does not increase stiffness. It's for stopping things from hitting you if you hit the brakes. It is not part of the structure.... And it's called JUPITER red, not MARS red, lol ;)

No it isn't, its a torsional rigidity bar/strutbar for the chassis however can still snap in an accident (however not even for rigidity in AMG GT just for luggage).. there are no mounting points on it for harnesses and if it breaks in an accident so does your body if you're strapped up to it.
