A lot of Filipino artists is a fan of Bruno. Morisette is one of them. She created this medley for Bruno before his birthday. If you didn’t know Bruno Mars is half Filipino. One of the cast of Fresh Prince of Bel Air is trying to connect Mori to Bruno for a collab.
As always, Brian and Jason are engaged in an friendly argument on whatever and Gus, as always, is the quiet guy in the middle of the two. Their sitting arrangement perfectly separates the two opposing poles ...lol! I appreciate that you recognize Morissette as one of the best there is. You are not the only ones who acknowledge her greatness. What frustrates me is, she should be a world renowned singer, and it puzzles me that she is not. I wish she could have this recognition soon enough.

I am not really a Bruno's fan, but Mori's rendition of this 15 song medley was exceptional. The medley transition, her voice and the band were great. The upshot is that she made his work sound good :)

I'm not a Beyonce fan but , I can agree they re hits to others......and when Mori covers them , she at least does them justice in a way I enjoy. You can't deny Bruno has had amazing hits....but if it isn't music you normally listen to , appreciate how Mori delievers them.
Just a side story, Bruno Mars has Filipino blood and Morissette respects him as one of her musical icons. In fact given an opportunity, she wants to collaborate with him. She has mentioned this in some of her online interviews. This Medley was actually released on Bruno's birthday as a tribute to to him.

This kind of medley is a little frustrating because of the constant jumping from one tune to the next. I wish she'd just do several of his best in their entirety. Her covers are almost always better than the originals, and such a pleasure to hear.
