I prefer to fish without music so I can hear fish feeding and stuff.
I've started using DOA Terroreyz but I'm seeing that I am getting broken off almost every hook up. I'm wade fishing for river snook and tarpon in the 30-40 inch class. I've been getting them just fine on 30 pound mono leader on rapala xraps but with the terroreyz, I find that they always chaff the leader almost 6 inches above the lure. It's always my leader breaking off rather than my braid, using 30 pound test braid. What are your recommendations for leader on fish this size with terroreyz? I just wanted your opinion before going out to buy some new leader. Thanks a lot and looking forward to many more seasons.
I would move up to 40 and if that doesn't work try 50, but keep an eye on your hit ratio. The higher the fluoro the more they will see it.
What size Talon Is On Your Skeeter Blair? 8fter?
I might be getting the new 15 footer. I use the 8 footers on my Skeeters and 6 footers on my Beavertails.
do they still make the 6fters?
