Part 1: • C-Gutta on Meeting Big...
--------
In this clip, C-Gutta talks about what it was like to be released from prison in the late 2010s after having been locked up for over a decade. He sheds some light on what it was like to re-connect with the members of Junior M.A.F.I.A. and P. Diddy. From there he talks about witnessing Lil Kim and Lil Cease reconcile in person. As the discussion moves along, he looks back on his relationship with Biggie before talking about the later rapper's legacy. - Zábava
6:35 absolutely broke my heart when he said “ I’m grateful for my memories …if I ain’t got nothing else” watching him tryna hold back tears. Can see the pain. 😞
No lie
Real talk
A couple times you can see him hold back tears!!!
Never knew he did 16 years for that situation. My heart goes out to him for that. He lost his right-hand man and has basically been in & out of jail his whole life. I hope he enjoys the rest of his days to the fullest.
Nah i think it was 11 years for Hot 97 but he got 5 years for something else first so total 16 years
@@anthonysalcedo3740 damn
Right.
@@anthonysalcedo3740 yeah he shot another dude in Brooklyn in front of a store I believe. I remember it in the news.
Nah - 11 for that and another 5 for a Brooklyn shooting
He seems very uncomfortable during this entire interview. Then when he said he doesn't like people, I understood why.
Yeah he’s probably a real low key, introverted dude and to be in the spotlight of an interview probably makes you uncomfortable
I think he's just more uncomfortable with Vlad's energy. It's more of a defense mechanism. Because he's fishing for information that's still an open wound. It doesn't make for the best interview but at the same time you still have to show loyalty to BIG
I didn't hear every clip yet, did vlad say his favorite line "then a war broke out in Compton" ?
@@robertfrank615 I haven't watched every clip.
I think in essence what the brother C-Gutta probably meant when he said that he doesn't really like people is that he is not a people person, he is somewhat anti social ,somewhat a loner & prefer to stay to himself often at times- a lot of us can differently related to those feelings.
Gutta same here I like being by myself too, I could be with my family and wonder off by myself. My family members always thinking I'm crazy because I'm a loner😂😂.
Alone yet never lonely...if u know,u know ✊🏿

This whole interview is filled with sorry . Hope dude is doing alright mentally after all he has been through
Dam I was just thinking that when I seen your comment
I don't think he is
True indeed-you can tell that the brother C-Gutta is still dealing with quite a bit of emotional pain.
Y’all dudes always trying 2 diagnose some1 … Gutter Is good I see him out & about & he ‘s part of an non for profit for stopping violence in the hood … He’s from a different era y’all wouldn’t understand
@@largegod77 That is great to hear brother.
However as a 42 years old Black man who is extremely pro-Black & a Nuwaupian a student of our spiritual father & our master teacher Dr. Malachi Z. York -i think it is a great thing for what i assume are other Black men on this comment selection showing a level of concern for another Black man.
Yet it is good to hear that Gutta is doing good & he is helping doing something positive in the ghetto or the hood for our people Black people with stop the violence.
Damn something about c gutta just pulls at your heart strings. He lost 2 of his best friends
IF YOU DON'T PLAY
CLASSIC R&B
ON THE REGULAR, YOU'RE NOT REAL HIP HIP.
THANK YOU C GUTTA
Horraay!!
he so correct
That's the problem with the modern generation and why their music is such trash. Early hip-hoppers were heavy on R&B because that's what we heard in our houses before we began to hear "deejaying." So, our music was heavily influenced by thought, creativity, and a response to what was going on the world. Classic R&B provided/provides those impulses.
@@Powerule23 WHICH INCLUDES JAZZ FUNK ROCK POP COUNTRY ALL MUSIC A LITTLE OF ALL MUSIC
@@Powerule23 This is an interesting take because part of the problem with modern hip-hop beats is that they borrow too heavily from R&B elements. Even emcees have turned into auto-tuned crooners who rely on harmonizing rather than pure lyricism. The missing pieces seem to actually be soul, funk and disco, which were more prevalent in sampling just 10 years ago.
I was taking a break at work today and somebody riding past was pumping some B I G!!! I remember seeing Big come out the Madness Clothing store back in the day down here in DC continue to RIP 🙏🏿 one love

@@christopherayettey4390 Hip-Hop wasn't as huge back then as it is now. They had more Jazz, R&B, Funk influences.
@@christopherayettey4390 hip hop and street culture dumbed down and limited the creativity and critical thinking of the current population.
@@christopherayettey4390gospel, funk, r &b and jazz required real talent and work ethic to master. cGutta doing a great job in controlling them bad voices in his head .keep it up brotha
Yea U Can Tell He Survived In A Dark Place for along time....Now he is in the light and still having dark thoughts...Stay Positive Bro
Vlad should take some of the enthusiasm out of his voice when he’s speaking about something negative. I know he thrives on negativity but he gets so excited speaking about something bad. And sounds so down when someone says something positive.
Prison has a way of humbling the hardest kats. Lot of pain in his heart. Goodluck to you OG.
The fact that he only has two albums out and people are still talking about him is what makes him so great.
You know Vlad gave his security the eye once Gutta told him he doesn’t like people
😂😂😂😂 like 😯
Vlad is on a screen 🥱

You can tell this man is very guarded.
He listens & listens, says a little and listens & listens lol

It's a shame what happened to Big and Pac! Junior Mafia and Outlawz squashed beef as well as Kim and Cease.
It's a shame beef doesn't end sometimes when life is short!

9:27 when Vlad says " they both died over some bullshit " just look at how C Gutta does the massive eye/eyebrows raise ....
You can tell Vlad noticed it too, cuz of how there was silence on his end. Like he knew he fucked up. Vlad has bozo energy a lot though. Even if you really believe BIG died over some BS, why would u say that to dude's best friend, as if that wouldn't upset him. He needs to be more sensitive.
I remember when this first happened. Can't believe so much time has passed. Crazy!!

there is a dude on youtube that did a documentary of Biggie vs various rappers beefs and his subliminals were fire! and had no idea the lyrical shot he took at folks in defense and offense. asode from that, his club songs were fire
He was going at nas jay wu tang a whole bunch of mfs
That was a really shitty interview. He didn't really go into C-Gutta's crazy life story from the streets to the prison and everything's he's been through. He was just questioning him about Biggie and Junior Mafia the whole time. I understand he wanted to ask about it but it could've been about so much more
@vlad I wish u would of asked gutta if he feel the album named ready to die was speaking death onto his own life. Next album named life after death thats y he will always live on. RIP B.i.G

What I've come to realize is that it's not so much the people that I "don't like", as it is their energy.
