- U.S. Soldiers participate in weapons training and qualification utilizing M2 Browning .50 caliber havy machine guns along with M240B 7.62 mm medium machine guns.
The Browning M2 .50 caliber machine gun has the longest service record of any weapon in the U.S. inventory. It is capable of firing 500 rounds per minute and boasts an effective range of 1.2 miles or 1.9 km.
The M240 machine gun, officially the Machine Gun, 7.62 mm, M240, is a family of belt-fed, gas-operated medium machine guns that chamber the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The M240 has been used by the United States Armed Forces since the late 1970s.
The M240B is almost always referred to as the "M240 Bravo" or just "240" verbally. The lighter M240L has started to replace the M240B in U.S. Army service.

Hello, looking at how kamikaze drones are used in the war in Ukraine, I hope the military takes this into account, because these machine guns are a good target for kamikaze drones from a distance of 7-15 miles.....
US is still in the counter insurgency sandbox mindset. They want to modernize and train for WW3 but theyre slow on most things.

@@nanzistnt2573 It appears you know more than average Joe. U.S. army surely is not hiding anything from public eye. So yes it's very weak army with old tech, struggling to catch up with RU army standards and advanced technology. They won't ever be as good as RU ARMY 🇷🇺💪
@@StrataVision The RU army which continues to lose more and more tanks in Ukraine due to logistical issues, still has zero 5th generation fighters in service, uses imports from fucking north korea, cannot make a missile that is not distracted by a fucking outdoor toilet, and lost a flagship to a country with no navy.
