This is the best Dynasty Warriors game ever made...
I've completed story mode and I'm almost done with conquest mode
This game never seizes to amaze me its just EPIC !!!!
Cool weapons improved characters and controls
The creators worked really hard on this game and it deserves a 9.5/10 rating at least !!

i love every dynasty warriors ever released i have probably played each game for atleast 6 months straight, only thing i dislike about 6 and 7 is there is no versus mode which was great fun on DW4

@1stTeenSA They added a new faction and new weapon styles and a new story mode solely for that faction. In any other game that would be considered a major upgrade. They overhauled the combat system taking in features from

@ajieajah90 technically it's a armlet that shoots spears used for assassinations during the time era, but in video games they make things bigger and more badass ie simple swords into swords over half the size of the regular peon soldier.
yeah, in DW5, Zhuge Liang had lasers. In DW6, Sima Yi had iron/steel-strength "needles"

agree gan ning was sick in the 4th and 6th but was really cool during the 5th anyways 5th is great and they showed make it individual for the next dynasty

@massacaur Yeah that is a little off considering that muskets or guns in general were rarely used to absent in Chinese warfare at that time closest they had were bows and cross bows. I'd say that its a little something extra for this game motivated by Samurai Warriors Magoichi Saika or something similar. Great game none the less.

with all the additions they've made in this game, it seems like the koei had just crawled out from watever rock they were under and noticed what video games are like today and were like "oh hey let's keep up with the times! Action and Story! Two Weapons!" But they're still so behind in the gaming industry it's amazing how theyre still around
This game isn't even really repetitive It's different from the other dynasty warriors it has a conquest mode which is new it you can have 2 musuo bars u can have 2 weapons the story mode isnt based on a character it based off kingdom there is jin kingdom there is online which isnt newbut its still cool and finally its in 3d if u have a tv like that

@1stTeenSA well you should really try it for yourself, i suggest renting it first then make your decision, in my opinion i didn't think it was great but you may like it so like i said rent it first.

@bliz222 well yes it has. This one has different characters, better graphics, less lag. Oh yea and in this one there is another power. Oh yea and how could i forget. This game is set on the immersion of the Jin dynasty, One of the most famous dynastys in the world. Nah hasn't changed

exactly the same moves and actions. i thought i was the only one who liked monster hunter haha:D
@OnTheToiletBeyotch in this case it is a good reason , coz the game have the same story line and that isn't a problem if they did a huge thing with the game , which they didn't .

What do you mean the storyline is stale? It's based off of history so they can't exactly change it.

@1stTeenSA Aesthetics is highly subjective, so I wouldn't really be able to argue that point anyway. Personally, I feel that if the graphics of a game are clear with fluid animations, that's good enough for me - DWs6 and 7 definitely fit that broad category for me. What's ACB by the way?

@pandaboyx oh right right, i mean its not like in dynasty warrior 6 they had people with flame swords or attacks that actually froze ppl. Not to mention the fact that you could take 3 arrows to the face or 10 stab wounds to the stomach and still be able to fight. Dont like it? dont play it

I prefer Dynasty Warriors 7! I like the idea of a kingdom story but it's better with a One Character Story Mode like F

Dynasty Warriors 2 & 4(Empires) were the best...

(1/2) i understand your need to bash on ign for giving it a 5/10, but when you try to compare it to CoD it doesnt quite work out the same and w/ fifa.
CoD is Largely Based on previous wars so already it has a strong base to give it a running start and the fact that it has multi player modes that give it something that can be boasted.
Last I Checked the Dynasty Warriors Games were never know to be Multi player Friendly. Just as a hack and slash.
