I have a question. So I want to hack money in the game im playing. In the "process list" there are 4 game processes. Anyway, i choose one and i type initial money value "1000" in first scan, then i spend money and type new value in next scan but it says 0 results. Then i change process to other out of 4 game processes. I type value of the money i have left in each and every process after wasting the money and still after next scan there are 0 results with the new value. Can anyone help?

I would like to ask if you can somehow find a way to hack a time speed on flash games basically there is this online game that rewards you every hour with 600 gold but if you just sit there it will disconnect you after 10 minutes, so I would like to ask if there is a way to skip 9 minutes ahead every time that way I get 100 gold without waiting that long the game that I am trying this on is oldcp(DOT)biz you get disconnected after 10 minutes if you wait too long but you get 100 gold every 10 minutes while staying active I've tried to hack the gold but I can't seem to find the real gold

The game that i usually hack now has changed their anti cheat and some of tutorial help me alot. the new anti cheat patched alot of stuff like all the old method of no recoil , speed , rapid , bullet count etc :( . Hey, can you do a tutorial on how to find pointer values and finding entity list?
Great tut man. Keep up the good work. One question; In a game where you can swim in water, have you ever hacked it so you could "swim anywhere"? I'm trying to hack Tomb Raider Anniversary, Legend and Underworld so I can always have the swim flag on, even when not in water. (Gives the illusion of swimming in air, so to speak) Trying with changed/unchanged value while going in water and back on land, back and forth. No luck so far, though I've seen game trainers with such options.
The value or values associated with that would be extremely hard to find. Every game is different. Best to try to find the flags that turn on when in water vs when you are not.. A lot of time if you are in water,, an address is assigned for that flag value,, however once you are out of water,, the address could shift maybe why you aren't finding it.. I would go in water then back on land do the first scan then and hit unchanged and do different things to weed out as much as possible, then go water and stay there hit changed,, then do a bunch of things in water and unchanged until it just doesn't weed down anymore,, then go experiment with values.. The game will crash a lot and be very frustrating.

I wanted to ask you a question: How could we do to find a static value (ex: damage of a specific weapon) which isn't in a structure, far away from over values related to it?
I would first place a break and trace on the health of hit enemy while holding the weapon I wanted to get the damage info from and go play around in the call structure looking for what area is sending the damage value to the enemies health.. And back tracing from there can help you locate that value.
Cheat The Game yes really good idea thx a lot!! I was looking for something else, and I located a function where 3 importants weapon values are accessed to be used just after for display, in the game i'm trying to cheat (dying light): weapon durability (the easy value to find which lead me there), handling, and damage. The function is really big and I think it runs 3 times for the 3 values, and it takes different path for each of these 3 values displayed, so it may take me some time. I'll try your method soon :), but i'd like to finish what i wanted to do first with this displaying function :p. thanks again :D
Cheat The Game Oh this is the hardest backtracing I ever did 0_0. Float damage is in xmm6 which is originally from xmm0 which came from stack which came from eax which came from [rbx+18] which came from weirds operations with multiple registers (to simplify xD). Do you have any tip in my case ?
Well you possibly manipulate the value anywhere along the chain,., for example if a change still occurs then you know it happens after where your script is,, if no change happens then your cheat should work right where you put it.. There isn't just one place you can write your scripts or opcodes you can manipulate for the same results\
Yes but I'd like to change the damage of the weapon itself to be able to give them to other players if they want, I don't want a "local" change ^-^.so I think have to backtrace everything until I find a static memory adress (weapon's damage) :0.
How to find adresses which values are only changed one time in the entire game? I am speaking of special one time weapons or abilitys.

Hi there, i have a question, how can i load a double value (1e308) into a xmm0 register? so before it is added it keeps it on max value?
assign the double value to a symbol and that symbol will be assigned an address.. you can then use the symbol to move into the XMM register. eg:

I tried this (and pretty much everything you've ever made a tutorial on) on a free game called "Transport Defenders" and I believe they have an anti-cheat for this method. I've went as far as decompiling the game and basically found that one DLL file, the main one the game uses, can't be found by CE, and dissect mono errors out.
I also believe that this game changes pointers every few milliseconds, making pointer scans near impossible. This game is also an incremental/clicker game, thus pretty much all game stats are VERY large numbers. From a technical perspective, this game is very different. I was wondering if you would be interested in tackling this one.
This is probably the game that I've struggled with the most, ever. This game even has anti-speed hack. So far, I've only been able to defeat the anti-speed hack and depending on my luck, TD coins (one of the game's currency). I'm curious as to your expertise on this unusual game.

No problem :) Also, it's definitely not an online game. The save file is saved locally in the user's appdata folder. It stores in compressed base64 file and decoding it just turns into a jumbled mess. I can however, confirm that it is definitely my save file.
EDIT: They have a web version and a steam downloadable version. The web version is definitely online. The steam one is definitely local.

AOBs are no good nor will code injection... Finding money on the double wasn't hard.. so doing it manually when you want to run the game,, and I stress (run the game) considering you do nothing but sit there and watch.. May be best just to get the values manually, if pointers arent being found.. Ill look at it more later..
Huh... interesting. I could not find the money value before, and I figured out why. I restarted my game, since my current progress involves very huge numbers that I don't know how to scan for (larger than max value a double can be). Smaller numbers are a lot easier. Here's what I noticed. The pointers change pretty fast, around 30 seconds to 1 minute. It varies. I let the game run while I was scanning before, and this time I paused the process. If you find the value within this time and change it, the change will apply. Wait 30 seconds or so then attempt to change the value again, and it will not work. Some other data is already written into that address.
I was able to find the pointer, and it stopped 2 levels up. I used a different scan engine to find what code was writing the pointer... the method was "Entitas:Entity:GetComponentPool".
Reading the decompiled code, it looks like there's a function that intentionally manages the pointers separately from the functions that manages the actual game components. I'll see if I can figure this thing out...
Well just know the double value stayed for me until I reloaded the game,, that's not saying that it will be that way in later trials.. I raised and locked the value in which was not exact value, but a decimal base of what your current money is.. and I practically bought everything you could buy..

can you do this for ps2 emulator like sly 2 and other games? i mean like finding no clip if it works that way, moon jump or gravity?
I have hacked ps2 games played by the emulator pcsx a lot, im not familiar with the emulator you are referring too however, ANY value that is stored on your computer can be found and manipulated. Whether it is easy or hard, it is there somewhere, so yes you can.

i want to know what links use the game to download data, specifically some images. and i want to try to interrogate all these link manually, i've already found the main server , i know also how these file are named, so i have the main server, the name of the file, but i don't have the path between. so its possibile with cheat engine to find these link? the game is made with unity, i've tried to extract the file and images that i want, but these aren't included in the game files, of course because these images are the reward content of the game. also i tried to find some file that has the http link and i've found the file with ftp links, but notepad++ doesn't decrypt it correctly so i don't know what instruction give the file to generate and compile the link with the eventually token access. someone can help? maybe i can unlock manually the content that unlock the images too, and i know this can be possibile with cheat engine, but it's hard to find the address that unlocks items, because the names of the functions doesn't has the word that describe the item or the function... what can i do?

Finding the value is the hardest thing to do in any hack. Some times it can take a painstakingly a long time. Using Unknown Increased/decreased value and/or changed/unchanged value. Then I go in there and try each remaining address till I get some kind of effect I can work with.. This can takes hours sometimes days. Definitely cant show that process in the vid. That would be less entertaining than watching the grass grow.

This is where hacking becomes difficult. Im trying to hack the life value of my life meter in guns gore and cannoli. But theres no number its just a meter so theres no real way to know how much life you have.

you need to have the game you want to hack running in the emulator,, you are hunting values your computer is storing in its memory,, it does not matter if it is thru an emulator.. Just attach CE to the emulator when the game is already running and youll be fine.

Well at 6:13 you press "Follow" and when i right click it doesn't pop up what that button. (Also thank you for helping me)
follow will only show for a valid jump or call instruction that has an address in the instruction- if it is just a registry then you would need to find the address that registry is holding. If there is no address for it to jump to or call then follow will not appear. Make sure the opcode with the JMP or CALL is highlighted before right clicking on it

was talking about the follow option in cheat engine. I found the follow button no problem. I'm ready to throw the towel. Renpy and CE doesn't want to play nice together.
The follow option is used for jumps and calls to go to where it is jumping or calling, not sure what trouble you are havingyou will not have the follow option if it isn't a jump or a call
I am very new to this, it might be some code that doesn't lead to anywhere. Is it even possible to use cheat engine on RenPy? Searches on the web tell me it isn't. I'm just sticking with a save file editor I found. Works ok.

Server sided values especially popular MMOs and any gambling site,, you can pretty much hang it up trying to change values.. But if it is something with older security, you can look into software like fiddler or Charles.. Or packet editing.. But even those probably wont help much if at all.
