These women call people and institutions "male mafia" so that they can shame and implement their female mafia.. They are fine with that.
      Never give into that.
These females themselves are unbridled and explicit but they act like saints and angels while demonizing an entire industry and whole men. We all know what these women are upto 🤣.

Thanks for raising your voice! This happens not just in the film industry but even in large multinationals. An HR manager, of all people, tried a stunt on me 15 years ago when I was in my early 20s.
Though I didn’t let him get too far, it took a lot of courage to get out of the spot he put me in. I can imagine a lot of young women in their early 20s would be perplexed, shocked, and scared. It’s like being thrown into a war zone all of a sudden, where you have to instantly know how to fight. It’s destabilizing.
Though this happened so long ago, there is still a pounding in my chest when I think of that moment and imagine my daughter in that situation. Knowing what I know now, I would shred him up! That’s the feeling every man and woman should have towards predators who need to be brought to justice so people don’t go about abusing their power.

As you rightly mentioned this type of sexual exploitations are there everywhere in every field, govt., private, airline, banking, education, sports, even legal and the list goes on - for a woman to pass her exams; get a job; get a carrier rise, sports selection. We are all very aware of it. It's despicable and disgusting. But on the other hand there are women, who are unable to compete with other women, readily come forward or offer sexual gratitudes, to achieve their end. This may have pushed the men to consider every woman in this way. Sorry, I am not trying to defend the men in any way at all. Just trying to highlight the reality. Like there are decent men there are indecent women too. Even after the Hema commission report many actresses are silent. Does it mean they were not approached or they dismissed the approaches boldly and still survived/surviving in the industry.

Before becomig famous, many actors whether in Hollywood, Bollywood or any other industry are just victims (even some who might come from movie families). This happens in any industry/business/institution where the person in decision making position has unchecked power. As a society and country it's important for us to advocate for the rights of everyone and bring laws to curb abuse of power. Women and children need to be made aware of their rights and not to fear to stand up to the abuser.
I appreciate the team of Kerala High Court (especially Justice K. Hema) for conducting a thorough investigation and bringing the abuse to light. Of course the government sat on the report for almost 5 yrs and I won't be surprised to find the movie industry-political nexus (coz of the money involved). It's even possible that some of the cases against actors would be thrown out after some time for lack of evidence. Our police and justice system are experts in making evidence disappear and turning the witnesses hostile. But this incident itself (and the media trial) will make the abusers think twice before trying to abuse someone. Additionally, the irrepairable loss of reputation in front of their audience and family members is their biggest punishment.

Im glad that we are living in an era where women are no longer afraid of the film industry's powerful, manipulative men and are speaking out against abuse.
She's right in saying that these things could not be discussed in the 90s. In those days it was absolutely taboo and the women who complained would be dragged through the mud.

this is not new. this has been going from 80s. even actress Shoba, a national award winner, who passed away at age of 19 with 60 films in her bag was also exploited! and later subsided.. strange. but even then now in 2024 we are still facing all these. the same country where women are worshipped, women are exploited 😢

Why do these women come forward with these stories only when they are not actively working? Could it be perceived as attention-seeking? If she chose to remain silent initially to prioritize her career, does that shift the responsibility? It’s also important to consider that the situation might be different from what is being presented-perhaps the accusations are being made out of revenge after being denied favors. Without concrete facts, we shouldn't jump to conclusions. While we can’t know what truly happened in the past, it’s clear that these public accusations can have a significant impact on the lives of the men involved, both personally and professionally.
