I don't even look at any pay to win events. It's hard enough just to stay relevant in this game.
This is IGG in a nutshell. They do not care if its fair or not, as long as people spend. I really do not think they even thought about the bonus quest and how that would affect the outcome, all they focus on is people spending money. Neglecting everything else.
Honestly think they overlooked this kind of problem. Poor planning on IGG’s part.
Max research players are also getting screwed with events like this

I too see that many of the LM events are moving more and more to be based on "randomness" and not on actual effort. Not that this is on the same level, but I did absolutely every event and killed monsters to get my daily 10 chests from the Dragons event to get the final skin. I even purchased a handful of packs to get a few extra, and still ended up 5 pieces shy of obtaining the skin. My alt account, which did did not always get all 10 monster boxes and didn't purchase anything, was only missing two pieces in the end.
I'm not even playing at your level, but I am pretty much checking out of many of these events now as well.

With this mindset the same could be said about people in lower gauntlets. Bonus quests are part of Guildfest just the same as the 352 quest or being able to do 11 quests. Sure it sucks when luck is not on your side however it's all part of guildfest. All life is a game of luck to a certain extent! Sorry that you missed it!
People in lower gaunlets can work harder to get to higher gaunlets. It's a work of the whole guild to he in qmster gaunlet
The gauntlet level should not matter. There should be a prize set aside for each level. It’s not a question of “working harder” if your particular guild is currently at it’s maximum effort. If they are gonna have such a contest that is specific to a country then it should also be noted that’s it’s really only for Master level-even though that’s pretty common sense after you have played awhile and just know such things. But I do agree that the “luck” factor is the same for all involved, but it’s NOT “luck” when you spend the “buck”…that’s purchasing the win.
I 110% agree with your disappointment (which is not even the right word to express the actual sentiment to something like this). I did not take part because well, in Canada so couldn't but also wouldn't have been able to as our guild was it the level down from you. An event like that, as you said, it was rigged from the start for you to fail in this case. And it automatically eliminated many others based on guild.
It was a similar thing with the How to Train your Dragon's new skin; I needed 1 piece for days. On the day before it ended I spent again, a lot of money to try and get it... after 1000 "tries" there was no new pieces and I received the same email from them. It wouldn't have stun as much, however, MANY pre-to-play in the guild had it 1 week+ before the event ended and here 1 was, busted to try and get it with the last day there, no shop open and so no way to get the 1 last piece.
In my opinion IGG has employed a very expensive copy writer to give them templates to answer player issues and all a person funneling through emails has to do is copy/paste the right response in and close the ticket. There is no investigation into the "system" made and they only cater to the ones who crank out the most cash. While it is still enjoyable to visit with the new friends made, it has become just that, a hangout since events are no longer a fair distribution to the brand new player on game or the long time veterans to receive the same game event perks.
Yea that last day thing for the shop was a real head scratcher...someone messed that up big time
@@Aevatrex yeah…I thought that was pretty strange. I also though it unfair that it was so easy to get the female avatar…i couldn’t get the male one. I really can’t understand why those who put everything they had into it for 60 days couldn’t get a skin with no benefits whatsoever and it wasn’t even top prize. I did spend a little, but I wasn’t going to spend a ton. And now…so soon after…they present another even for a skin with benefits and at high coin count…I’m not even gonna bother with it.

I don't even try when its pay to win! Its too expensive already, and the amount you spend is usually more than the prize. I agree! The bonus quest should have been out of the equation! Thats not FAIR!
I Got Greedy wasnt wrong...perhaps u could have done your due diligence and enquire of the bonus quest inclusion.
Also what do u expect from a PLC whose goal is to maximize profit..look at their share price..obviously they need to do something.

They really don't care. The only reason for the events is profit, not keeping players happy or entertained. Mainly because the player base is not players but addicts. They won't bring new game modes, the closest is some minigame that is not even funny and costs money to unlock stats.

Unfortunately IGG has always been about getting the maximum amount of money out of your pocket, but things have changed for the worse, I’m pretty sure the Christmas event should have opened our eyes to that. During that time of the year, making it harder for f2p to get the normal skin, then also having what boils down to buying wars for a special Christmas skin.

The only time a game in igg be fair is one that’s none pay and works on pure hard work it will give f2P a chance alongside P2P then let there be a ranking .. even say remember the big ball event we did that was down to pure teamwork that’s the only type event that will be fair but it’s unlikely these come along often, in a ideal world monthly events like this with good gifts is the fairest imo
This is just sad and now imagine rest of us mortals when we write to IGG support about anything..if this is how they treat one of their biggest game promoters what rest of us (not whales) can expect? Man I have even no words for this..they dont care and dont give a F

Man im so happy i quit this game lol. I had actually start thinking to get my third LM account but when i see videos like this about the game i remember exactly the reason i stopped playing the game in the first place. I spended quite alot on this game but they not getting a dime out if me never again:)

You also have to remember that some people are lucky enough to score a 352 straight away and then straight after they finish that quest. Lower tier guilds cannot win, so It's all skewed no matter how you look at it. Completely random to win, sorta like me getting a gold main on a $5 pack and you spend $1k and not get one....all shit with IGG
I spent 3 months complaining about farming bot guilds. IGG never did anything about it. Those guilds spent money and there was nothing IGG was or will ever do about it. Same thing with shield bots. You get paid by IGG and if they can screw you and you bring IGG tons of money. Well should tell you where IGGs loyalty is.
People been talking about this for years, IGG never did anything about it so what's more for 3 months 😅

Now you know how f2p and semi f2p feel. Even if we could do a full 352 for all quests (some of us can) and get totally screwed on impossible to do bonus quests…which I’m sure would have happened to us anyway…makes me not to even give my money or try. I didn’t even know you could get IMPOSSIBLE TO DO BONUS QUESTS…

I get what you're saying, but i dont think IGG could have done anything differently. It was just unlucky you got the bonus quests you did. They cant give you higher seed than people with more points than you.

Should you be able to actually purchase the win in a non lottery situation? Should you not offer 2 different leagues and a prize level at all gauntlet levels? Should ONLY those at Master level be the only ones able to win stuff in this game!?
IGG should let us re-roll bonus quest for like 1k gems and can do it up to 5 times
Or just make it like the lower gauntlets…you just purchase another “open” quest spot to choose your quest

They like to reply that they do their best to "improve your gaming experience".. Well that's an awful gaming experience. When after that much effort people find out they had no chance. Players from lower gauntlets could join a guild with Master for one gf, so this issue can be solved. But can't do anything about bad bonus. Not the first time IGG screws up and doesn't think through their events.

People who want to spend a load of money in this game use cash events to get more for their money. The guy who spent 20k probably bought 1 11k and artifact coins or a purple 11k.

I’m not exactly f2p or “p2p” and it’s ridiculous. I will spend 10-25 a month IFF I have recreation money. Not only should they have new kingdoms but also should be somehow to actually level the playing fields between p2p and f2p+. The “join a better guild” thing is bs since to join a great guild you normally have to be able to spend money or keep up with troop counts-which also means spend money. Another issue with that is having to leave your actual friends or kids, etc., behind.

All events are based on who spent the most. The only motive of the game is to drain your wallet as quickly as possible.
Ive given up on PTW games as they essentially will just shut off one day and any money you spent is gone.

Hey Aeva, the bonus quest were always random from the very start and so considering you decided to go for it just 'hoping' you'll get the prize, don't blame others and the people who won the prize put the same amount of work but were just more 'lucky' than you.
So it's all fair, blame your luck for shit random or maybe have couple of account for next time so that if you can't do on one do on another.
to say they put up the same effort while finishing days after is a bit of a stretch dont u think? but sure make sure u have multiple accounts to make sure an event doesnt auto disqualify u right at the start is a good argument for a good event. solid.

He couldn’t “pay” to win…he was only given bonus quests that was IMPOSSIBLE for him to do…e.g. get 6 quests done on first day…not possible if you are playing for max 352’s AND your on second day and last quest…all 3 of his random quests were entirely impossible to do for such an event. Sure, it’s fair to everyone doing the bonus since it’s possible many were ripped off at this point. My point (and I think his) is that it should not be given as a “paid” bonus if there isn’t a quest given that you at least have a chance of doing at this point and/or the game should take into account 10 and time stamp.

I guess it is fair in the sense that everyone was handed random bonus quests. I wouldnt have went for it hoping to win in this situation like you did unless it is confirmed that bonus quests doesnt count. Its rough man, but it is also true that you knew of the risk and still went for it.

you got scammed :) i am a Guild fest monster like you, i do GF on 20-30 accounts in my guild lol, we delete tasks without bots because we dont use bots..... i only have a question? why do we have a humongous amount of shyt tasks like 50-100 points... just to waste our time, extend our online time for them to show in their statistics... daily online time is huge lol....its not, game needs new events, new dynamics, for instance Call of Dragons (IGG new game) had tons of events, even had a GANTT chart to show you which events are in which days!!! option to search for lv x tile, to search for lv x monster and so on.... why dont IGG make our life easier in Lords Mobile too???

because you never know what others were gonna do, and i was prepared for it, so quitting at the start is not my style, i think saying "you shouldve quit right from the start" highlights the issue more than anything dont u think?
@@Aevatrex i highly agree on the fact there was issue which igg should have thought before deploying this event, no doubt on that and with all these ranking board events are also rigged to up the minimum. But my point was when i figured out igg came out with a faulty event however prepared i maybe i wont proceed.

All game including chests, drop rates and all things are just luck. Lords mobile = Luck or money. Or both. Period. Just ignore events and do what you feel like is fun. That way you can have your fun and ignore this type of events.

It’s not that he couldn’t do a RANDOM bonus quest…he didn’t get one he could do without spending money, Money, MONEY! But, it wasn’t about the money for him…it was about getting “paid” for bonus quests that were IMPOSSIBLE to do for such an event as this. I also applaud him for NOT spending (which he was not even given the option) and bringing forth the issue. I have not played at that level, but I know Random ones suck for f2p…I was not aware that you could get totally screwed like this and not even get one that was possible to do. That makes a person like me who does spend some not even want to try.
