Just a few kilometers down Don Juico Avenue, better known as Perimeter Road here in Angeles City Philippines, is the magnificent Hotel Clarkton. This Hotel has an excellent Bavarian Style Restaurant with a large menu offering food choices from around the World. There is a Barber and Beauty Salon on site for those in need and the Pool and Courtyard is one of the nicest around.

I lived on that side street looking out room window at, Ilang Ilang St. First apartments on right from perimeter Road. Lived there for over 4 years in Clark view & used to eat my breakfast on weekends at Clarkton House, use the pool, play basketball on their court. The staff was all so nice. I was always very respectful & kind. I used to also ride their free shuttle bus to the Air Terminal on Clark Air Base, where I worked. I really loved my life when I lived there those 4+ years - best years of my life really, 1985-90.

We have just had a rather excellent meal in Amigos - thanks for the heads up about it. My Chicken Burrito was excellent and will definitely be going back there after the festive period is over.
Have just read all of the excellent comments re Anne on this thread. Having met her in person, she looks even better in the flesh than on video. You need to take her out on a nice romantic dinner.

Clarkton is nice, clean and recently renovated. The small things I look for is the positioning of the air conditioner relative to the bed - my Kandi Palace unit blows the cold air directly on my face and I hate it - and that doesn't look like it's the case in Clarkton, but its location is so far from everything. Nice job Chubs!

That it is a fair distance, and that is why it is still one of the most popular hotels in Angeles. It is only a jeepney/trike/Grab ride down to Fields/Walking Street. I was assistant manager for a while back in the 90's

Looks like they have done some restoration. Wonder if it is still for sale. With hotels going up on Clark, I wonder how these small hotels are going to fare.

Cost too much for what you get
From what I can see The Clarkton seems like ok digs but it looks dated ...Like most places in the RP its way over priced...Thailand,Vietnam ...etc kind of spoils you...............
