Avliotes Easter Parade 2024 - Tlog 4 -Agios San Stefanos

Fourth in my series of Tlog's as the village opens up for the 2024 season.
In this video we walk to Avliotes, about 3 miles from San Stefanos for the Easter Parade. I believe this is the only parade held on the Tuesday after Easter, and originated from about 200 years ago when there had been no rain for a long period and after the first parade the rain started so has been repeated since. Back then Agios Stefanos was a farming area not tourist!
Agios (San) Stefanos is a small fishing village in north west Corfu, about 6 miles from Sidari, and about 2 miles from Arillas.
