They also canceled the Sun revamp, despite it only being a change to his third skill and appearance. Wouldn’t have changed all that much, but they still canceled it nonetheless.
I wish they would keep the old Alice, just makes the buffed creeps to drop 2 instead 1 orb and makes her 1st skill can collect the unreachable orb. That way she could playing safely even thought her levels and stacks is left behind.
The stacks had always been kinda holding them back in scaling fast compared to other heroes (would include aldous too lol), but tbh 20% hp based dmg is a bit too much, so they might have to nerf the dmg abit but overall its a great buff for her, however she might definitely need Enchanted more than ever having to spam multiple skills more frequently when her ult is active xD For Barats, same thing, great overall buff, simplicity junk but in exchange, damn the new ult is more devastating and actually fun, it fits for a dino to be charging at you than slowly eating you whole xD QoL changes to these 2!
Alice and Barats really deserves this lol they’ve been out of the meta for such a long time. Besides the obvious adjustments, I think no one’s talking about how Barats can simply use his ultimate to CC immune, then cancel it and get refunded 60% CD which is ~24s. 24s CD of CC immune on paper seems like no joke haha.
Finally!!! Alice's passive has been holding her back since she needs those orbs for her skills and tankiness to scale. Now she has enough juice to match with her tanky counter parts in the EXP. Some adjustments: - Skill 2 damage is too high... so I think we can dial back on the % HP damage scaling or if dmg is ideal, just slightly increase the mana cost to balance. - Skill 1 and 2 CD reduction from ult can still be optimized - maybe she gains less CD reduc from minions - Ult still has so high mana cost for a skill that has small damage. I think we can still lower the mana cost and damage but boost the HP regen since the ult just helps her main damage skill - Skill 2. Given she no longer becomes tanky with orbs, it's fair to still increase her sustainability in her ult. Overall, I like this active damaging playstyle with Alice better than the current passive early game but tanky and damaging late game playstyle.
I think she will stay sustainable though not as long as before due to high mana consumption. It because she can buy spell vamp and second skill enemy in her range for hp. That is me tho.
Also, I think she will be build tanky if this is implemented. Due to how massive her second skill damage(for now) is, she can just rely on base damage and build tank while also damaging.
Personally I like this experimental changes. I hope the developers add it to the game but my Concern is, was the defense stats that you gain in the stacks is the same as the advance Server?
Barats ulti is a great change but losing slow on his 1st would make him easier to kite. He gains mobility on his ulti however you would use that as initiation and with its cd most enimies are just going kite you especially since 2nd is a very easy skill to doge his 1st helps get that 2nd skill in.
2nd skill is not easy to counter now😂 unlike before where it was much predictable now u can controll ur 2nd skill by urself like remote controlling tv so it's good also ult dash is op tbh
I can already see Alice with the blue buff and that new passive, even with the enchanted talisman she never runs out of mana and would immobilize forever Only one damage item + talisman and the rest defense it is possible that if she grabs you, she would never let go
Both are good changes to give this heroes the spotlight to shine, if barats ulti is like khufras first where you can here it then its not op and alice she needs it cause she hasn't been back
IMO, the reason why she was weak before is because exp laners are supposed to make an impact in the early game especially when contesting for the turtle. With her low mana at early, she can’t really pressure the enemies. Meanwhile before she can get higher stacks at late game, the enemy marksman will be able to melt her like most exp laners since marksmen are very strong at late game. The removal of stacks will make such a huge change to her playstyle. You can now utilize her Mage & Tank role similar to Esmeralda who is very strong in this current patch.
I think that with Alice, it's not bad, but I want part of the mechanism of the orbs to perish. They can leave the passive exactly as it is now, but leave the orb mechanic to increase at least extra hp. Nerf the cooldown of the first and second skill slightly, because have to keep in mind that the ult can reduce it too much and will make it too broken.
I play barats some time and i had to say that i always have the control of the stack and as i play him i have to say that minus 40 hybrid defense and no slow on is 1st skill is a little bit of a nerf like if you consider as using barats as a roamer this is soo good (you still lose 40 hybrid defense and the slow effect that could have helped you in catching some heroes but you get a mix of khufra and kaja ult [i say kaja cause you can move him away from were he is] that is helpful for engaging) for exp (yeah i know that very few people play it as a exp laner but there's someone playing it in exp soo...) and jungler, the lower defense means that some hero at early level can easily maul them cause of this and the slow with this would have helped him in tanking hits and wait someone to come and help them or just to survive thanks to the defense buff and escape thanks to the slow. But that is just my thought
I wonder if you could just turn Alice into a walking side-lane setter. Doesn't matter if she runs out of mana before she can kill anybody. She just needs to survive and immobilize long enough for her teammates to kill the other team. You go full mana regen and tank. Common emblem, demon shoes, clock, talisman, dominance, thunder belt, athena's. Carmilla would be a great main tank since Alice would keep the enemies in place for the ult. Then MM comes in with the easiest free hits of their life. The whole enemy team would be forced to get Purify if you ban Diggie.
I like the Ult change on Barats, but not the passive change. Stacks can be maintained just fine. Alice seems reliable now, pretty sure she can become a viable mage once again. I'd like devs keep her this way and just tweak the damages she deals a lil bit to not make her "op"

(If hit wall or your teammates) Alice's changes interesting. The changes to her second skill will make her more reliant on Clock of Destiny. So Alice still has to use CoD, not Talisman.
Barats does not have a dash nor he has a way to capture enemies without them moving so doing this might not only give him good survivability but also great for ganking

But with alice they seem to be encouraging a control mage playstyle with tank build, the hp based damage is too much while people are arguing that her mana cost will make her unsustainable they are ignoring the mana passive, mana boots, mana book, and mana emblem that she can eauip. FIX ZHASK. Can we get a zhask bug fix? As an Alice main, I don't like this 'experimental change'. I personally feel as if she's quite balanced. This would only make her kinda OP, and therefore ppl are going to want to pick/ban her. Which results in nerfs. I play her in Mythic and I've never had any problem getting to lock her. Let her remain the way she is. My only advice is to increase the range of her passive so she can collect orbs at a safer distance, that my only problem, especially in exp lane where she can't go toe to toe with most fighters before reaching lvl 4 so they wait in bushes waiting for me to come and collect orbs then I die because of it. Just increase the range.
I've been looking for people who just want QoL changes. Just give reasonable range. I dont play Alice and hate her with passion but honestly, her orb stacking is pretty hard
Did the defense each stack increased for barats?? Since they lowered the max stacks they have to increase it to somehow compensate the lost stats, if not he wont be as tanky anymore
barats needed that ultimate, but as for alice any spammable cc is tend to be abused, like alice can also use the enchanted. I'm all for no stack but spamming cc is never good.
You know it has been years since I play this game while I do take massive break but the game has been developed with care and each update is becoming more frequent and game changer so it only time before this game became worldwide a big as dota only if people start playing nova that survival shooter
For Barats the adjustment it's pretty balanced considering you can still miss his ult (the CD is pretty long too) but at least it's easier to land the stun now. So overall this is a good buff but it wouldn't make him OP Alice on the other hand, she's basically too OP considering how low her 2nd CD is and how fast she can get it back just by using her ult while also dealing tons of HP% based DMG. So unless they either nerf the DMG or increase the 2nd skill CD Alice would be too OP since she also has higher heal now
Barats adjustment needed and i love it... But for alice it's too op once she caught you there is so escape even if you try to run she have dash. I think cool down in her 2nd skill not fair but remove collect status is better
Yeay alice! My favs hero, been stop using it after the revamp, but this changes looks promising. I think its not so op since the mana is still the issue probably she only lasts 5-7 secs in team fights
I love the changes on both heroes if im the one using them, but hate it when facing against them LOL. I feel like I couldn't survive against any of them 😂. I'm sure more adjustments will be made, more on the nerf side.
They are probably going to release a skin for Alice... Though honestly, every heroes that being adjust by Moonton just felt never balance.. They adjust so many heroes but never bother about the heroes that should be adjusted...

I’ve stopped using Alice the past 2 seasons. I don’t mind ulti low damage output but Her ulti HP regen is a joke ( worsen when enemies use anti heal item ) Currently 10% magic power ? Lol lol Ruby & Balmond recover HP faster than Alice 🥲 🤣 I agree with 2 adjustments: 1. Passive 2. Ultimate ( but lowering CD of Skill 1 & 2 -> not necessary, too OP ) Skill 2 adjustment is complicated lol ( they expect you to buy items with mana, but you also need magic power & HP because the new passive removes +HP per orbs ) Ever since forever, I am hoping for : •Skill 1 -> add slow effect when hitting enemies •Ultimate: lower mana cost by 50% ( makes more sense because -> she deals damage every 0.5 second not per 1 second ) Eventhough her ulti regen will be higher, u will still need to build her semi tank. She is mage/tank, u can’t build her full magic, HP regen requires time, u can’t recover all lost HP in a few seconds, she needs defense. This is my opinion 😊😊
Alice seem so op tbh. Even if you just build 1 magic item, she can rekt enemy just by having that 15% hp base damage. Another tank to counter tank

Esmeralda is very strong now in exp but if the enemy using dyrroth or alpha, you're done.

Did the defense each stack increased for barats?? Since they lowered the max stacks they have to increase it to somehow compensate the lost stats, if not he wont be as tanky anymore
At max level it provides 60 hybrid def instead of 100. It's a big nerf but with other adjustments maybe it's fair?
barats needed that ultimate, but as for alice any spammable cc is tend to be abused, like alice can also use the enchanted. I'm all for no stack but spamming cc is never good.
You know it has been years since I play this game while I do take massive break but the game has been developed with care and each update is becoming more frequent and game changer so it only time before this game became worldwide a big as dota only if people start playing nova that survival shooter

If barats Revamp is official then I am starting using barats And make him one of my main heroes
For Barats the adjustment it's pretty balanced considering you can still miss his ult (the CD is pretty long too) but at least it's easier to land the stun now. So overall this is a good buff but it wouldn't make him OP
Alice on the other hand, she's basically too OP considering how low her 2nd CD is and how fast she can get it back just by using her ult while also dealing tons of HP% based DMG. So unless they either nerf the DMG or increase the 2nd skill CD Alice would be too OP since she also has higher heal now
Barats adjustment needed and i love it... But for alice it's too op once she caught you there is so escape even if you try to run she have dash. I think cool down in her 2nd skill not fair but remove collect status is better

Yeay alice! My favs hero, been stop using it after the revamp, but this changes looks promising. I think its not so op since the mana is still the issue probably she only lasts 5-7 secs in team fights
I love the changes on both heroes if im the one using them, but hate it when facing against them LOL. I feel like I couldn't survive against any of them 😂. I'm sure more adjustments will be made, more on the nerf side.
Barats ultimate and flicker combo is just like Khufra's first flicker combo when he was in his prime.

Though honestly, every heroes that being adjust by Moonton just felt never balance.. They adjust so many heroes but never bother about the heroes that should be adjusted...

Meanwhile they remove disarm effect on masha skill 2, cost lot hp for useless skill, and also no cooldown reduction from minions.
Thank god I was so tired of the ribs and stacks. Literally couldn’t reach full potential until much later in the game.

Barats finally got a decent Ultimate to start a team fight. I'm glad we can maintain the Stacks with the Special Basic Attack, though for Jungler Barats it seems very OP.

I don’t mind ulti low damage output but Her ulti HP regen is a joke ( worsen when enemies use anti heal item )

I agree with 2 adjustments:
1. Passive
2. Ultimate ( but lowering CD of Skill 1 & 2 -> not necessary, too OP )
Skill 2 adjustment is complicated lol
( they expect you to buy items with mana, but you also need magic power & HP because the new passive removes +HP per orbs )
Ever since forever, I am hoping for :
•Skill 1 -> add slow effect when hitting enemies
•Ultimate: lower mana cost by 50%
( makes more sense because -> she deals damage every 0.5 second not per 1 second )
Eventhough her ulti regen will be higher, u will still need to build her semi tank.
She is mage/tank, u can’t build her full magic, HP regen requires time, u can’t recover all lost HP in a few seconds, she needs defense.

FINALLY, Barats has been a cool hero for me but he just sucks at almost all aspects as a fighter and tank.
